The Princess and the Popstar-inspired room was missing two important things: the hairbrush and the microphone!!! I was looking forward to these but it’s completely understandable given the fact you haven’t watched it yet, Syd. I still love the room though because Tori and Keira literally have pictures of each other in their rooms’ wall 😭😭😭

lol I remember that. It always confused me so much how Tori was so surprised she and Kira looked like each other. Seriously, you have a life-sized cutout of the girl and yet you cannot recognize your own face? Is the purple hair throwing you off that much?

The Foyer looks more like from Barbie Mariposa and The Fairy Princess because of those crystals and flowers(it represents the 2 Kingdoms, Flutterfield and Shimmervale)

oml the exterior looks so classy yet so pink, with each coming room i got more and more surprised with how you could fit the aesthetic and everything tied together at the end. I love the colors in the gaming bedroom, so beautiful. would also love to see a parte 2 with the older movies as they have a more whimsical look and some have various sky and plant scenes that u could use as inspiration!

Oh my gosh this is absolutely my FAVORITE video you have ever done. The Barbie movies have been a huge way to bond with my sister for so many years and I am a sucker for the historical/period decor. You should 100% do a part two maybe even three. There are just so many more movies I would love to see rooms/decor inspired by. Especially rapunzel and magic of Pegasus!

The whole house is amazing but I think the mermaid kitchen and video game bedroom are my favorites. Also does anyone remember the Barbie video game for the original Nintendo? Each level had a different theme and I think it would be a fun challenge for Syd to make a Barbie Video Game inspired house where each room could be a different level.

I have a distinct memory of the first movie that you landed on, I was pretty young and my grandmother was sick in the hospital so I went on KZbin and watched some Barbie movies on my iPad because I had nothing else to do and I was lame but also I thoroughly enjoyed that movie along with the others. Yesss Barbie in the Nutcracker is my fave too! That takes me baaaack. I loved Swan Lake too, I had the poster on my door, and the castle dollhouse. It’s hands down my favorite present I’ve ever received. Those were the days… I miss video rental stores and simpler times 🥹 also can’t forget about Magic of the Pegasus, Fairytopia or Island Princess. Barbie and Bratz were my life growing up. My cat liked to walk through my dollhouse doors and sleep inside them. Such good memories.

1:40 This is random but my hometown is Newcastle! I moved away over 10 years ago now.. Seeing those pictures of the Theatre Royal suddenly made me homesick.
