Very cool! Are you able to fly fpv with the thermal camera, or does it transmit video over wifi to the phone? And do you think there is anyway now to swap the stock FC?

The heli uses a 5.8 GHz FPV VTX in this video. Flying via goggles is possible (with 100+ mS latency). And a CC3D flight controller with two brushed ESCs should work (Open Pilot supports helis).

Sehr coole Idee, welche Komponenten haben Sie verbaut? Möchte meine DJI Mini 3 mit einer Infiray 2P pro ausrüsten. Habe das Raspberry PI Zero 2, Akku und Spannungswandler aktuell und weiß nicht womit ich das Videosignal auf einen Laptop bekomme. Danke für Ihre Hilfe

30 g - 40 g should be ok, but it will reduce flight time and the copter might get nose heavy

yes, it's possible to add a long range receiver, but the problem is the stock firmware, which shuts down the motor when the heli reaches a certain angle - see kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4O0fKKdbNJradU . One has to add a tiny flight controller (with Ardupilot or Rotorflight) in order to get full control.
