I love those little cameras I've been putting them in RC cars and putting 1s batteries in the car.. so much fun and so easy to set up.

The original camera? It's pretty good in terms of picture and colour but had nasty distortion, but you'd only get this when flying. I'm sure it's great as a static security cam

@CurryKitten3 жыл бұрын
Yes - although it's a very posh (expensive) version which looks more realistic... that's the plan anyway. there's allsorts of colour variations in it that make it look more like actual grass, but it works best on quite a small area.

@@CurryKitten Yeah, brushed is kind of retro now. But I still enjoy flying those. With the smaller and newer components from 2020, they actually fly damn good 😁 it is an ok cheaper alternative for the Betafpv brushed 65mm qwad. Silverware is also, still alive 😉

@CurryKitten3 жыл бұрын
Range wise, it depends on how you mount it, how high you fly, your receiving antennas, the weather conditions. It's not a set distance. I'd expect to get a comfortable 500m out of it. It'll work with the ROTG01

Slightly off topic here, but is the 'Wheelbase' of a drone frame measured front to back, the same as with a vehicle ?
@CurryKitten3 жыл бұрын
If we're talking about the quad size (i.e 450, 250 etc) then it's the diagonal motor to motor measurement, so quite different to vehicles

How is this a split camera? Don't those usually have onboard sdcard for recording?
@CurryKitten3 жыл бұрын
That would be the RunCam split. I don't know if Eachine have genuinely just come up with the name on their own, or they are hoping that the word "split" might be seen as a desirable thing. There's logic sense to it, it's and AIO camera/VTX that has been "split" into two parts. Which kind of just makes it business as usual for VTX's and Cameras
@craigjohnstone873 жыл бұрын
@@CurryKitten taking the vtx out doesn't make it a split though. As you said thats just business as usual. And selling it as a bundle doesn't make it an aio haha I would assume there just looking to makenit more desirable and people buy thinking wow, thats cheap for a split cam

No SmartAudio or Tramp? 25mW only? No OSD passthrough? Is this 2016 again??
@CurryKitten3 жыл бұрын
No - it's very limited for a hobby product. For something to mess around with and FPV your dog, it's great, but there's much better solutions for proper models

Greetings to you in the Motherland! From your brother's and sisters in Australia. God Save the King of Australia and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I have a C128 sentry and want to put this in it to make it 5.8ghz analog. I really want to get the EWRF 1000TVL 200mW AIO. It comes with smart audio but what does that do if I have nowhere to plug the smart audio in? Would you consider reviewing the EWRF 1000TVL 200mW 180⁰ AIO camera? Thanks mate!
@CurryKitten10 күн бұрын
Just having a look at that camera, it's got buttons for changing power and frequency as well, so it will work fine withou smart audio being connected
@МилошЧУЉАКОВАНОВИЋ10 күн бұрын
@CurryKitten thanks Mate! I think it looks great. However I wish it came with a Male JST MX 1.25 Connector instead. This camera you reviewed. I just purchased it and eagerly awaiting it for my C128. My c128 has a spare Port which I assume I can just plug into with this connector 1.25 JST connector and it will work?

No smart audio?! wired backwards?! Typical Eachine quality! They wire things backwards all the time! This seems like Eachine's attempt to stick two old items together and call it something new! Then, they use the term "Split", which Runcam uses on their great quality products, to make us think this is somewhere in the same universe as the Runcam Split cameras! OMG! Con job for sure! 😒 No smart audio? When's the last time we've even seen a VTX without smart audio? 2017? The Eachine Nano VTX has SA and a high power output, up to 350mw, in a tiny finger nail sized package! Then you can pick a much better, not 3-4 year old, camera to pair with the nano, or another good brand of VTX. Why buy this? I can see no reason whatsoever! Sorry Eachine, this con job will not work on us! Worthless! 😩
@CurryKitten3 жыл бұрын
Yeah - absolutely get the better stuff.... only reason is to get the TX06 split is literally for what I just did. Basic indoor car, very cheap. I think split is an odd word for it... not because it's not a good description, but because it's clearly already been claimed. Perhaps instead of an All-in-one camera, we should call it an all-in-two?
