Dope! I just bought a cheap kit to use mesh heads on. Do i need to split the trigger outputs like you did on the ?uestlove kit?

I'm using a 24" kick with RTOM blackholes and I have an RT30K that wont fit so I guess the EAD10 wont fit on it as well. If I made a wider hoop adapter for the EAD10 mic/trigger unit will that work fine with the RTOMs?

On your kick did you use a kick trigger like the one you used on the floor Tom or did you use the built in trigger in the mic unit?

As it states in this vid I used the built in EAD10 trigger. It works great for the 16" Bass Drum. For larger bass drums I recommend using the DT50K. I'm about to release a video that includes settings for the DT50K trigger. thanks for watching, and for commenting.

So I'm considering trying these with my roland rt-30's. Is that doable? Also would you recommend against the black hole kick head for triggers in general or just the ones you were using? Awesome vids!

Saphen Doable indeed. 🙏 you might have to tighten them up a bit more as they tend to be a bit “looser” /more sensitive than the Yamahas. The Black hole is great if you have a flat stick on trigger (DT 20, etc) and don’t mind mounting the EAD 10 mic off of the BD extension that comes with the BH, then use a lift for your kick. When using the EAD10 it works best if you use a mesh head on the kick. Thank you for the kind words, and for watching 🤘🏻

Hey man for your Ead10 what Samples do you use and how do you get em? I’ve tried taking samples on a USB but it always says it’s not compatible

Gotta make sure they are old school 44/16 Wav files or it does not want to play. Sometimes I have to re-save files via Ableton or Pro tools so they work.
