EAE Prismatic Wall with Mattoverse Air Trash

Can the Mattoverse AirTrash be pretty? According to its creator it is a pedal "for guitar and bass that sounds like absolute garbage". I think it's worth a shot. Enter Electronic Audio Experiments Prismatic Wall. I just received this from Grahm of Boring Gear Reviews (go check out his awesome channel right now if for some reason you haven't) and it is so amazing. These are the first sounds I'm making with it. More to come.

I could listen to this all day!!! Definitely one of the coolest and most interesting uses I’ve heard w the prismatic wall yet. Very inspiring 🔥🔥🔥

Thank you so much! Prismatic Wall is a marvel. I really love it with most dirt but having a bit of choppiness was a fun discovery. 😊

Damn, that is some beautiful distruction. I've always been interested in that air trash used in different, more ambient contexts. Great stuff, man.

Leave it to you to run airtrash into PW! 😂 what a surprisingly excellent combo! Loved the sounds you got at 2:30 and 6:20! Killer!! 🔥

Thanks!! The very first thing I plugged into PW was Thermae and it was instantly glorious so naturally I started grabbing different pedals to be more contradictory or challenging etc... 😂AirTrash was oddly hypnotic with PW. I would just clack a note and have it slow and sputter.

In my honest opinion, you succeeded in making the Air Trash sound beautiful. Beauty is in the ears of the beholder, or something like that. I've been wanting one for some time, but I believe it would be redundant with my Glitchwave, and Gorantula (with rage engaged), for squelches and stutters. Tamer, but redundant. Loved the artifacts throughout this video, especially when things got "bassy".

Thanks a lot! I bet that combo would sound extremely rad. Prismatic Wall is a wonder. I really liked to low bass too (in my headphones) AirTrash is just like Mattoverse describes that it sounds like garbage but it's hard to put down.

@@basementlyle I was listening with ear buds, and can confirm sound quality is better. I stack the Gorantula into the Glitchwave, it gives the sub octave a nice robotic voice to it, as well as a plucky "chiptune", that is a constant note, depending on the frequency of the Glitchwave. I name this Mecha Gorantula 😂😂😂. I just picked up a contact mic, and put it through my pedal board for a few minutes. I just haven't had the time for a full experimentation yet. I put the contact mic up to my vocal chords, turned the Glitchwave on, and hummed. It sounded like a Godzilla roar, I'm in love.

I’d love to see either the Dude Incredible or Sunbros with the prismatic wall. Also think hearing something like Dreadbox Typhon into this would be very cool - always loved the Typhon and Organelle video.

I’ve been sandwiching it between slowly melting and a longsword and it’s so good.
