I hit the 50 subscriber for ya 🤪. Taking my son 13 to kayak fishing there next week. Thanks for showing the baits used. We are newbie fishermen. We go out without a clue most times.

The key is being persistent, but we are obviously particularly fond of Texas rig. Throw those T-rigs and you guys will get some. Good luck and love seeing father and son fishing. Good luck and go get’em!

Are those kayaks easy to turn over?

Not at all. I mean if you tried hard enough it’s possible. This is our first kayak so not able to compare to others. However, did tons of research before buying and the Oldtown PDL was supposed to be super stable. Stable was the #1 thing we were looking for. Awesome kayak.

Eagle mountain lake is my hometown lake. Record was broke this year with 16 pounder

Yeah, that thing was massive! Eagle Mountain can be a tough fish, but still one of our favorites.

Damn y’all were right by my parents house. Looks like those frontal conditions helped you that day. I’ve never fished the canals very good and y’all killed em there.
