It's good to talk about the value on different price ranges for the same bottle(s) (especially if allocated) because the price(s) can vary so much depending on the specific store, area, website, etc. For example, I recently opened & tried a Russell's group pick from TY-F FL4 at $90 & think it's a better value than the Rare Breed batch from Feb 2024 at $45 because the RR is at least twice as good.

I'm pretty sure this is the third time I've said this, but I love Stuff & Whisky Uncut Unfiltered. 🥃 Happy birthday, Erin 🎉 But egad, y'all - at 41 and 43 y'all are my daughters' ages! 😂 6:03 Boring my left foot! Y'all ain't a-tall boring. Kurt and Trenton of SLB Drinks have quiet interludes, and - which is bizarre in Yankees - actually talk slower than y'all do, so they actually have more dead air than y'all do. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm a Texas hick and I prefer slower speech, and some time between things. That's like a-settin' on somebody's front porch a-talkin' about whisky, instead of the polished plastic of an obviously professional production. If to get a proper evaluation requires some time focusing on the whiskey instead of on the camera, then don't worry - I don't care a lot for incessant talking anyway. 🙂 13:01 I never saw the beard hair - it of course was too fine to show up on the screen. But this did remind me of how irritating when my mustache sheds and gets in my mouth. I *love* seeing y'all's interactions. Josh isn't me and Erin isn't my wife, but the way y'all are together, at least on camera, reminds me of how my wife and I love each other. ❤

Just spent too much money (I thought) on the Gatsby,, very glad I did. I've loved half of the Remus reserve, 4 and 5 were some of my all time favorites so i I took the plunge, will probably open it tomorrow with some friends after dinner. Slainte!

1. Yes, commentary should be *before* The Reveal. 2. The more commentary before The Reveal the better. I'm not in any hurry for The Reveal; I already know. 3. I prefer unedited videos. And unedited means less editing for you. Win-win. 4. Echoing what the other guy here said: nothing wrong with silence/dead time. I know Josh is concerned about the "silence" issue but I can empathize with Erin's position that she would like some time not talking in order to *focus* . How 'bout this ... When you get to that section of the video, just say, "Okay folks, we're gonna take a minute of quiet time here just to focus and we'll be right back with you." A minute without talking. It really would be no problem for us viewers and it would be helpful for Erin -- and maybe for the both of you.

Unless you win a lottery, you’re correct. Marked up prices are too variable though, and often times bottles barely live up to their MSRP, which speaks volumes (and why we use that as the metric to react to and then discuss the markups after the reveal).
