My FX impact Mark II should be arriving this week. I noticed that this magazine does not have a plastic cover don't you see an issue with dirt or debris getting in there and causing issues? I looked up the stud magazine which is very good but I don't like the Aesthetics of it and then there's the ballistics Central magazine designed by Ernest row and I was told that FX has also upgraded their magazine. What's your opinion of these other magazines compared to this one that you reviewed?

I have the original.177 magazine. Love it. Never let’s me down. Hoping they do a mk2 version for slugs in .177

Loved the original .177 mag and rated it very highly but could never remove the lid due to short nails. No issue though as I just filled it without removing the lid by keeping my finger over the hole and rotating the mag Just got the newer one and it’s so much easier to take the lid off now. Just trying to figure out the included rubber balls as the other had O rings I’m guessing looking at them one or more are fitted to the rifle in front of the magazine in the recesses on the block ? Should they be glued if they do go there or are they a friction fit ?

👍 they should be just be friction fit . But I never add extra ones it’s more like spare parts or if you might have lost some of the original ones

Very cool update. I find it a lil odd that only the 40gr .22 (Javelin and Zans) have been designed to be longer that 11mm but .25 and .30 cal slugs have not be lengthened past 11mm I may be wrong but I believe the NSA 55gr are the only .25 cals that are longer than 11mm

Thanks for video! I can't even afford the Impact yet. I will say when I can, I would much rather have a machined aluminum magn than a plastic mag! I would gladly pay the price and have it last maybe my life than some plastic crap, that if I drop is done. I own a couple less expensive PCP's and have already went through over 100.00 in mags! I always say, "you get what you pay for"!

My friend how come my .22&.25 has a hard time cycling I loaded it but never got to use it with pellets nothing special 🤷‍♂️

Look amazing.Sadly my fx 177 eagle vison mag was Garbage the pellets would come out at an angle.I moved the spring to the lower setting I believe their are 4 small holes that can ease the spring tension.I can say their made very well and the Idea is great but on use were CRAP !!! Also the magnets are super strong little bit to strong but u need too make sure they dont come open.to some it up pellets come out wrong sideways and spring adjusting for me made no difference

Great magazines but they are almost double the price of OEM ones? So question for me is as they are double the price are they worth said price? Well I asked this question in the gun club? Every person said how they loved this magazine? So would you pay double the original OEM model? 4-10 said yes……great I thought,but then I threw in another question……if I offered you two OEM Magazines or this one which would you pick? 9-10 said they would take the two OEMs…..point being I think is everyone loves the quality of this magazine but few think it’s worth double the price…

I can understand the question 👍 back then I would say they where always better then the OEM ones but with the recent upgraded OEM FX magazines i don’t see a difference anymore and would rather have a spare or extra OEM then one nice aluminum one 😉

Nice magazines but the 40gr javelin slugs are still to long for it, 40gr H&N fits fine tho.
