Wasn't Eddie the original guitar shredder? When I was at music/pop/jazz college mid-1980's shredders were everywhere. They worshipped Eddie and Ingwie Mamstein. Not sure who else. I was serious jazz violin (and some guitar). It was a great fantasy. Diamond Dave Lee Roth had a hight extreme performance schtick...Sammy has a good KZbin channel. I don't really know his work, but he does seem to have some depth. He used to own a club in Cabo San Lucas, and his own brand of tequila.
