1. Defence is scary in the sense that most of these players haven't reached their ceiling yet. 2. Saquon is a beast behind that OLine and with a dual threat QB. 3. Hurt's stats should be ignored- some easy catches were dropped and he makes first downs, sustains drives and gives defences kittens. Defences hate playing against him. 4. The Commies were highly rated and now pundits are playing them down. They are a much better team than previous years and division wins are often ugly. I've seen a lot uglier than this game. 5. Few dodgy calls against the birds. Again. This doesn't help. Although I think the drive with the worst call ended up in a TD.

51:01 it’s not unfortunate with Barkley , that’s what we brought him here for and paid him that money! We don’t want to play to the standard of the nfl we play to OURS ! You got to be crazy to EXPECT HIM to go for 200 yards EVERY game anyone that knows football knows that’s not sustainable.. what we do expect is for him to make SOME TYPE of difference in every game EVEN IF it’s just getting us 9 out of 13 first downs .. Seth you could be a little bit more confident/optimistic, especially since you’ve played the game at a high level , step back from the analyst side and view it from a player perspective 💯

This offense would be explosive with a QB like Foles, who will take what the defense gives, will take shots when they are available, & doesn’t take sacks Bc his first option is covered. IMO he holds the offense back, people can go back to 2022 season he had the same issues but the running game carried the offense and the turnovers were key for extra possession. But the QB struggles for stretches of the game he’s too inconsistent.

@LeonardoLondono-o9i I agree. A true pocket passer would go insane on a team like this. The o line is one of the best in the league, and there's literally weapons everywhere. Like you said, Hurts still doesn't look off his first option quickly enough if it's not there and just take those short yardage passes that defenses are giving him. He's getting better, but still isn't good against the blitz. Goeddert, imo is a top 2 or 3 TE in the league that Hurts dosen't utilize enough. They could do so much more with what they have. Nobody thought Saquon would be this good, and that alone opens up so many more options that a pocket passer would be able to take advantage of. Hurts is obviously their guy, but he's the wrong type of qb for an offense like this.

Hurts ain’t an elite passer or best reader of the defense, ….but he does everything good at what makes him elite & a winner is under his leadership this team moves the sticks and the total offensive yards since his rookie szn is undeniable, (go and compare Hurts v Wentz, Foles, Vick, McNabb total yard production per game)…. Now if the defense could have made 1 stop in the SB we would have ring no2….as long as the D can make 3 or 4 stops in playoffs per game I have no doubt Hurts will get the points we need to win….

@20-20_Vision Hurts did play excellent in the sb. Jonathan Gannon and Nick Siriani's incompetence cost them that sb. KC didn't even belong on the same field as the Eags that year. They basically played prevent defense the entire 2nd half. No adjustments, never brought pressure, and played 7 yards off those mediocre KC recievers. Just a complete lack of basic common sense.
