Beautiful song. Growing up, I loved music, but it took me a long time to actually learn how to play an instrument. Once I did, this song was one of the first ones I tried to learn. I had the sweetest memory of watching their performance in "Hell Freezes Over", and the way Don Henley did the percussion using the back of his guitar, and the way Glenn Frey sounded. How his voice taught me how to feel things that I had never experienced myself. An absolute classic, timeless, always relevant, always touching.

Frey was an ass and wasn't anything without the others. Quit sucking ass and give credit where it's due.

Listen carefully at 1:03, this is perfection. The melody and harmony is like no other.

I’m only 24 but I’ve been lucky enough to see The Eagles twice. First time with Glenn, second time without. Vince did a great job but Glenn will always hold true to the band. Thanks for being the reason I play music today ❤

I think a part of the reason is before the late 80's, we listened to the music, but by the 90's, it became a video production, with much of the emphasis on the video and far less on the quality of the actual song.

Husband and I dated in the late summer 1976- 1977. How I remember dancing to this song. I was 17. He would get into the bar were the band played Friday and Saturday nights He was over 21 We had so much fun. He held me tight in his arms. I can still feel his arms around me. He is bed ridden right now. ItI hurts to see him in this state. We just had our 47 th anniversary. .we had many good times .

Concerts worth the money. Enough said. I know it's been said numerous times, but those of us fortunate enough to have been there when this was coming on the scene know how good we had it. Some things will only happen only once in history and we were there.

500 years from now people will STILL be listening to the Eagles. :)
