My problem with hurts is that while yes any qb missing his 2 best receivers would struggle, that shouldn’t mean a normally good qb should look horrific. Like he was 100% inexcusably awful against the bucs, rolling directly into the blitz, showing no level of post snap processing, his pocket presence is beyond laughable he has no clue how to deal with the blitz or manage the blitz in the pocket, plus he had random inaccurate throws that ended up being difference makers like the very first play or when he had 3 consecutive overthrows on a 3 and out. The good qbs in the league never look that bad regardless of who they have or don’t have around them

We talked about this in the bye week episode -- Hurts is as good as his weapons/playcalling, he can't lead a haphazard offense by his own volition. But he's talented enough to win big games when all the right pieces are around him.

Lurie is not the kind of guy that sits around with poor head coaching anymore. After Pederson being fired i think its clear that hes not gonna sit around anymore. I think that nicks job is genuinely on the line...especially if the team looks god awful like it did last week. If we lose to the unserious browns, i think hes gonna be on the street and theyll find talent outside the org.
