Thank you Phil - it was awesome. Normally if I can going that far, I get a room - it makes it easier on me. But that was so worth it. Next time I go, I am getting a room because there is another location I want to go as well. It was so so worth it. 🙏💖🤗

Hi John, great images and I am glad you got the eagles you wanted. I am trying real hard to not take Bald Eagles for granted. It wasn’t that many years ago when they were not very common. Current counts show we have 9,000 mates pairs and most of those are in the Puget Sound area. Between the beauty of the bird and the loss of chickens and attacks on dogs, I tend to have a love hate relationship with them. 😂 My mother in-law has had to take her dog to the vet to get patched up after being attacked. I got pictures of one the other day that was carrying a dead duck. The eagle was also banded. One leg had a silver tag, the other a green and black with an M on it. I am reaching out for assistance to see what I can learn from this. We were all trying for Short-eared Owls and I think I was the only one who raised a camera to get pictures of this eagle.

I understand. We have gobs of hummingbirds but I still get excited to shoot them and have to make a conscious effort NOT to take photos of them. Owls..... I forgot about those out there. Well, it looks like my December trip out your way may be back on. I am just happy to have these here - they are AMAZING!! 🙏💖🤗

Wow you had an amazing day out there. Crazy what a 3 hour difference does in terms of the wildlife. Was the blue billed duck a ruddy duck..and did the eagle catch a scrub jay?? Thanks for sharing
@JonnyPink653 күн бұрын
It was AWESOME and I am going back I think next weekend. The blue billed duck came up as a white face and I forgot to list it. Decided not to go back in and change it. To me, it looked like the eagle had a bufflehead. I did invite you!! Was home by 1:30 I think 🙏💖🤗

beautiful. what lake is this? have photographed thousands of eagles, but it never gets old.

I was told of several out in the Central CA area - some only accessible by boat. And this is only 3 hours away instead of the 2 days away that last time I went to Washington State - a super treat for me. For me, hummingbirds never get old - they are amazing. 🙏💖🤗

@@thedroneguy42 I was up at 3 and out by 3:30. Would have made it if I had stayed on the 101 and not taken the mountain route as Google showed me but I didnt research the drive enough - I was too excited. I was there just before 7. Next time, I know! 🤗💖

Excellent ! les 175 ou 180 photos individuelles auraient pu etre faites avec un R5 MKII ? ou le R3 reste le meilleur dans ce domaine ?
@JonnyPink652 күн бұрын
Merci, merci. 🙏💖🤗
