Thank you again for another speedy response. I tend to impulse purchase a lot of gear, due to my EDC addiction. I will be patient with this light though and wait until the XM-L2 comes out in the Ti version.

I just bought the d25c. Best little light ive ever seen. Puts out so much light and has throw. What would be a light the same size that you think would throw farther and a little brighter though??

I work as a machinist and have used the d25a2 clicky on a daily basis for almost two years now. Tough little light, mine is pretty beat up. I'm also a part time machine tool maintenance man and couldn't be without my light, very bright, mines rated at 453 lumens I believe, honestly with fresh batteries it's too bright for my use but I'll take that over not bright enough, only downside is it eats AA batteries, not a problem for me as these are supplied at work. Great products and videos. God bless!

wow I just noticed that. I cant believe i missed the price difference out of all the research im trying to do for all the 18650 stuff. Go figure. Well just consider me sold then. You actually saved me $5 :) Well I cant wait to get my light in the mail. Wishing I ordered my other stuff from you as well. Only thing at all that your site is missing is 750 type 4 paracord. But definitely consider me a repeat customer. I mean you just saved me money really. First time a company has ever done that.

I LOVE my D25LC2 clicky! That is my favorite one of all the models I own from them. They are my favorite brand and I only use their rechargeable batteries and charger. My 47s and Fenix lights are all in the drawer now. Plus I always order their upgraded light modules when they come out with a higher output. Their weapon model is also great because unlike Fenix and 47 their pressure switch also also keeps the push button on the tail cap with momentary and on/off like Surefires. Great people also.

So the bigger the lights, they can actually maintain that constant high brightness. That does make sense. My four sevens Mini Xml got really hot after being on for a couple of minutes, so if I were to keep it on the brightness would go down from 210 lumens to keep the led from burning up.

Thanks for your time just trying to find the right buy. I want something that will throw farther then the m2s that is just as bright. Something that puts out a ton of light.

Thanks for the review. It's incredibly hard to choose just one of those lights. When you filmed the D25A with a li-ion, you called it both a 14500 and a Eneloop. Isn't the Eneloop a ni-mh? Which did you use in the video? It was very impressive. Thanks again!

Well im glad im not the only one then. I was about ready to send it back as mislabeled or the wrong flashlight. But if you would please list it in the flashlight description. At least that way it saves your company some needless confusion and needless returns. I have to say though its an awesome light. My d25lc2 is as bright as my nitecore ec25 if only just slightly dimmer.

Great review there. How do I choose between a Quark Tactical QT2A-X or an Eagletac D25A2 or even a Fenix LD 20. Please help. Also can these lights run on AA and CR123's?

Eagletac support says D25C and D25A Clicky will run with 16340 and 14500 batteries at 700 lumen for only a few seconds and then drop slowly to 397 and 176 lumen regulated output respectively. Can you confirm this? Also does D25LC2 maintain 741 lumen? Some of your other 18650 lights say max lumen is for first 5 minutes only. You said in one of your other posts that these are not ANSI lumen ratings. What does that mean and how do I know when a brand is giving exaggerated ratings?

Hi I just ordered this one from your site. I felt I ought to given how much you have helped me just in comments alone. I hope it all comes perfect and if you would like I could do a review? Either way im kind of excited. It will be my first edc 18650 light. Also if at all possible would you please test the eagletac 3400 mah 18650s in both the nitecore ec25 and the eagletac d25lc2 clicky. Ive read some in forums say its too thick on the sides and wont work with either light. Thanks for the help:)

Hey Marshel, How are you? I got a question in regards to this light and 4sevens Quark 123X2. I own the Quark and it puts out 360+ lumens using 2 CR123 batteries and its really bright. On max mode it lasts for 1:30-2:00 hours. Im pretty sure you handled one before. Now the D25LC2 is supposed to put out 741 lumens using an 18650 and it lasts for 1.8 hours. While using the lights, do you notice a great difference in the output?

Ah ok got it. :) Well just um a bit curious as to why you dont sell other high mah 18650? I mean of course eagletac seems to be the best but what about say a nitecore 3100 mah? Also I must say im very delighted in seeing no ultrafire batteries on your site. Just one more thing that proves you and your staff know their stuff :)

Ok i want the D25LC2!! I have a 4sevens Quark 123x2. It puts out 360 lumens in max for an hour and a half to two hours with 2 CR123 batteries. It is really bright. Now what i want to know is if this outputs a more brighter light with 741 lumens? The reason i ask is cuz there were flashlights that said 700 lumens but they were hardly brighter than my Quark. What do you think Marshal? It out performs the Quark on paper but will it in performance? I ask you cuz you've tested both.

What's the difference between the XM-L2 vs. the XM-L? Are they any brighter, or do they just have a different tint?
@ISAWYAH08

Ok. So the extra 20% of power won't make that much of a difference? I wasn't planning on putting a 14500 anyways just a Eneloop.

Hey Marshall, why does the fenix ld22-190 lumens seems a little bit brighter than the eagletac d25a2-397 lumens in your review? can you recommend which is better between the two?

Hi, I am really leaning toward the D25A. I was wondering if you rock a 14500 in there would you still be able to access strobe? Also could you also access other modes as well?
@A7Guitar
@A7Guitar 11 жыл бұрын
Ok well I must say at first I thought I had received the wrong flashlight from your company. I think it should be mentioned that on the d25lc2 clicky that the sticker will say 741 lumens not 850 lumens. But if it is the 850 lumen version there should be an orange sticker up above saying "upgrade for free cree xm-l2 u2 15% brighter" and I did not know this. I had not heard of this anywhere at all. So for those of you who are new like me or just dont know this. I hope it helps :)

What kind of charger do you use for all of your rechargeable lithium ion batteries? I'm thinking of switching to an 18650 for my Sunwayman M20C T5 and also thinking of picking up a light that takes a 14500. I would like to get a charger that can charge LiFePO4

I would really love these lights if it weren't for that reverse clicky switch. I recently switched from my various streamlights to a Thrunite T10s, and although I love the light, I really miss the momentary on.

Great video! I am looking at the D25A, primarily because of the high availability of regular batteries. It was recommended to me by my father who is really into this stuff, but one thing that is bugging me is all the modes. I know they have their uses but I need this to work when and how I need it and feel like I might have to sit there getting to the right mode. Is that a problem? Can you recommend any comparable lights that have more basic interfaces? Like 2/3 modes and momentary?
@radu19d
@radu19d 10 жыл бұрын
Hi! Just want to know if D25A2 (as you mentioned they have same interface anyway) has a quick way to acces strobe when you get it out of pocket. Fore example to be set when you press to go directly to strobe in one touch... never had a decent flashlight so these things are new for me and looking forward to get one. Thinking between Eagletac d25a2 vs nitecore mt2a.

Hello, I also have a D25A Clicky/14500 Eagletac 3.7v Li-Ion battery combo.. But am having trouble with "Group 2" (Turbo/Strobe only mode) on the D25A.. When using it, whether the bezel/head of the light is tight or loose, It still only acts as if it's in "Group 1" (Low/Med/High/Strobes). I cannot get the light to turn on in Turbo mode. I have tried using it while the bezel is down tight, to falling off, and nothing changes.. Always Group 1. I returned the first one, and it's replacement is doing the same thing. Any thoughts?
