Really good song, but what I love the most is that other than the tuning and mixing and stuff it doesn't sound like anything from the first album. Amazing as that album was, it's best not to do the same thing twice.

Fine gentlemen, Eagulls. I had the pleasure of seeing and meeting the band during one of their tour stops in L.A. with Ride. Digging this.

I wonder if they haven't lost something on the way....first album was /is/ really great collection of noisey, nerve melodies and post melancholy feelings..this is too quiet, smooth and nice..maybe it's my problem../heard just three songs/

Produced by Steve Lillywhite? ;-)

(I'm thinking much less of his Morrissey work--I didn't realize he had worked with him as much as he did until I checked, in fact--and more of his work with U2, Simple Minds, and the P-Furs.)
