I know you got frustrated by the resin but honestly it turned out so cool, the bubbles/ripples and the slight green colour really make it look like a tropical ocean and add a ton of movement. Sometimes happy accidents sneak up on us, amazing end result!

What a nice diorama. Don't fret too much about the ripples and bubbles in the water. I think they add to the dramatic scenery. I don't know what you originally had in mind, but it turned out fine. It's all a journey and we learn from mistakes. The importance is to not give up. Kudos to your wife for pushing you to move forward. Be proud of what you achieved :)

With all the music and how good the diorama came out, i want a full backstory behind it. Like, why is he reaching up, did he get stuck or did the rocks move around it over the years. What events lead up to this, how long has it been there, what happened to the pilot. It would be so cool
@giovannipochpenaflor826 Жыл бұрын
I have a theory there was an avalance and it made unicorn gundam stuck. the exit way for the pilot was broken so the pilot reached up trying to escape breathing for air then dies leaving the awesome unicorn gundam to rust
@Choco_Nutter Жыл бұрын
Maybe Banagher’s spirit is now part of the nt-D frame the same way the Phenex had the spirit of its pilot in it as well. Maybe Banagher was unlucky and got shot down, the impact of the crash killed him and the Unicorn was lost in the waters. Later, Banagher’s ghost would inhabit the nt-D’s psycho frame and tries to escape.
@muhammadalex87259 ай бұрын
I’ll give you one ten years after unicorns creation it was left by the pilot and after the war no one bothered searching for it and the dude on the boat that found it came during a time of peace staring at what almost looked like a fallen god
@labbit35Ай бұрын
Nah considering lore wise the Unicorn was sealed, it would make more sense if the Unicorn was like this because someone else used it. Something like the unicorn was rediscovered accidentally by someone long after Anaheim Electronics have fallen from being the monopoly in the arms market, it was found when someone was exploring around the dense forests of Earth when they came across a weird looking metal structure, they managed to break in due to the aged locks, and ended up finding the Unicorn. The person would go into the facility, but as he was exploring the facility, he accidentally triggered the age old automated defence turrets made to deter intruders from trying to obtain the Unicron, he got shot in a bad spot but managed to accidentally open the cockpit and he climbed in there for safety, the man didn’t medical supplies that could save him at that time, so he tried to use his limited knowledge of mobile suits to leave the place and fly to the nearest hospital. However, the wound was too severe and he ended up crash landing at the cliff we see there, as he was dying, he attempted to reach out for help before succumbing to his wounds, dying inside the Gundam. The Gundam would then be stuck in this position as it slowly merged with the environment around it.

honestly the bubbled resin is gorgeous! it really gives the impression of the water being over some kind of cave. its like the rock is cracking, water is seeping through and air is bubbling up. it adds this subtle movement and sense of emergency to an otherwise very tranquil, contemplative scene that is very understated and overall adds a lot to the storytelling here. i can picture all the buried zakus under there
