I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of Xiangling. I try to play Diluc. My Xiangling deals more damage. I try to play Yoimiya. My Xiangling deals more damage. I try to play Dehya. My Xiangling deals more damage. I want to play Klee. Her best team has Xiangling. I want to play Raiden, Childe - they both want Xiangling. She grabs me by the throat. I fish for her. I cook for her. I give her the Catch. She isn't satisfied. I pull Engulfing Lightning. "I don't need this much er" She tells me. "Give me more field time." She grabs Bennett and forces him to throw himself off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with Homa." I can't pull for Homa, I don't have enough primogems. She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She grabs Gouba. She says "Gouba, get them." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, no icd pyro application. What a cruel world.

I really enjoyed this lmao and I echo the sentiment. Xianling is a neato character, I like her, but I'm so sick of her and how she's is pretty much always the better choice. Dropping a little bear turret on the ground and spinning a fire tornado forever are objectively fun things to me but something about her feels so "mandatory" that it's killed her appeal to me. There are only things to love about her, how she's accessible, you can get free consts from lantern rite even, she thrives on a craftable weapon...maybe I simply don't deserve her.

In this abyss i wanted to play Yoimiya, but accidentally clicked on Xiangling. I 36* that abyss because i was lazy to log out and change the team again, lol And yeah, Xiangling is pretty much everywhere, she's even on my geo team, and i'm pretty sure she deals more dmg than my Ning. Damn... 😂

It's actually the opposite to me. I'm actually forced to use meta Xiangling national onfielder Xiangling with C6 bennet with Kazuha and Yelan for the 2nd side. Can't experiment with my fav characters like Aloy and Xinyan just to get the primos.

Yeah, I feel like your “biggest mistake” that made you struggle was putting Benny, Xiangling and Rosaria on the first half, when they are really good on second half. And aggravate is good on the first half, majority of your damage is electro and not dendro, so chicken - one of the squishier chambers - isn’t a problem.

The teams I used definitely aren't the only teams capable of pulling this off! My Xiangling Rosaria National stuff is heavily invested in, way more than my Aggravate team comps, so for me I felt it was my best option, I mean they destroyed side one honestly. Only thing that's rough about it is no Bennett vs Lectors, but honestly Bennett isn't 100% free vs the lectors, since he self inflicts pyro, they are vape/melting you every time you get hit, so they one shot you a lot. Also Thoma's shield when your built full EM is non existent. But yeah there's other teams that can do it ofc, I liked mine tho :)

A 4 star team I like to use is Heizou, Faruzan, Bennett, and either Thoma or Xiangling. It works surprisingly well

For those wondering why you target the primal construct on the left in the first chamber of Floor 12: Left one is actually a ranged attacker and the other two are melee attackers, which is why if you target the right primal construct, the left one doesn't come to you, it just proceeds to use range attacks.

this abyss was quite brutal and the second half was very team restrictive. I was very proud of myself finally 36 staring it today although not in one run. I used mostly my whaled on 5 stars and struggled immensely so big props to you for doing this in one run with only 4 stars! Also yus rosaria is so slept on, i do use her as eula support but i also have her build dps too.

I've always been using Prototype Amber R5 ever since I started getting catalyst billets. So good in freeze team. You get Mona's insane dmg buff and just the right healing since enemies are frozen anyway. This is also the BEST 4* weapon for many HP scaling characters like Baizhu and Kokomi and Barbara, totally helps with energy issues.

Prototype Amber is so slept on... I've always used it on my Taser teams (Beidou/Sucrose/Xingqiu/Fischl) and it made energy and surviving a breeze. I'm trying to build a second one to use with Yanfei for her Tankfei build. About Bennett's weakpoint on Chamber 3, I wish I had Jean so I could play the Sunfire team on that chamber. Jean's anemo infusion would not only remove that vulnerability but also deal a ton of damage in the process. Also, join the C6 Bennett club if you can but haven't already. I took a long time to join, but have no regrets.

Coming from 4.7 in 2024, I still think this iteration of the abyss was the hardest. Quadruple Consecrated beasts + Triple freeze herald was brutal. Superior Mechanical difficulty>Superior DPS Check.

I'm so glad I discovered this channel. Back then, I hated this abyss because of 12-1-2. But to be fair. I miss this Abyss a lot. It was so fun to try my best. Now we have goofy ahh abyss that was crafted for toddlers, and worse yet, the theater mode that was made to force you to use dogshit comps.

Cyro shields on bottom half was basically begging you to use Bennett/XL, so not doing that was kind of griefing yourself. But props to beating it not only on hard mode (4-stars only), but ultra hard mode with the shield breaking duo chilling on the other half instead!

yeah, i pretty much use that method of using a dif team for every room, cause most of the time the abyss is only trying to be annoying, instead of "hard", so that is also why i dont beat the abyss with 36 stars anymore, cause 6 abyss ago, i got tired of spending 2 hours playing the game for 50 gems... sucks.

This was super well done and entertaining to watch. Another possibility could have been to switch sides a bit, since Xiangling and Benny are very good against the cryo shields. Collei National could’ve worked, and dendro chicken had resistance but it’s weak enough it doesn’t matter much against hyperbloom/aggravate. And if we were going with the Thoma Burgeon-I wonder if Diona could be a good option for the flex slot. Accomplishes survivability, good battery, buffer, and even +200 EM. The cryo shield would be stronger against the cryo attacks too. I was too shit to clear it with anything less than my most invested five star studded teams tho LMAO

This abyss was actually really fun for me! I guess I was getting kind of bored of even the theorycrafting portion of the game. And for context I had already quit playing the other parts of the game actually only returning to do abyss every rotation. Maybe I would do the events that would give a free character or weapon or talent crown. I don't think it's particularly hard as so many are saying, except the consecrated beasts. Those things are an upgrade of the dreaded "i-frame animations that just waste abyss timer" into "animations that waste abyss timer AND hurt my party members" with their attacks that seemingly hit half the arena. It was definitely elemental check though for dendro this rotation though.
