I have worked in a both Ritz Carlton hotels in NYC. I can tell you from personal experience that working at their hotels is a unique experience regardless of whether you are management or an hourly employee. Staying at a Ritz property is staying at a home away from home.

I've been lucky enough to stay long time (6 months) between both the Ritz Carlton's in Shanghai. I must say that the service is top notch! But it's not the best, they still can't Match the service at legacy Ritz like Paris.
