The first island isn’t the best looking but isn’t all that bad either. It’s the most affordable one considering this list just gets more and more expensive. If I was a drug lord I would buy the more expensive island but if you’re not I wouldn’t bother unless I was bored and rich asf.

this is so complicated: if i buy the island and there are people working there do they pay me taxes? do I pay their wages? Do i pay for electricity to whom? If i buy the last island it seems there s already buildings there, are there any people living there? What about police? Hospitals? For the one island which you said receives cargo one a month, do i have to pay for it? If the supplies go to some shop, isn't that on my property? Who owns that company/branch on my property? omfg there are so many questions

Georgian Bay waters are treacherous, large boats run the risk of hitting shallows or many of the large stones/boulders beneath the waves. Just look at the Island it's mostly made of rock. The water is also very deep in many places and the wind can create huge waves that can sink many small vessels, I remember one day going fishing in a 12ft boat many summers ago; the air was still and the water was pretty flat. So we went no more than a mile out into the bay, the wind started picking up and the waves started growing and in the coarse of just minutes and a few hundred meters. The waves were 8ft-10ft high, we were getting tossed around like a toy in a bath tub; we got back in one piece but I never went out on the bay in a boat again. Georgian bay is also dangerous in the Winter, it's a favourite place for snowmobiler's to go out onto the ice and see how fast they can go. Unfortunately every year, people crash through the ice and lose their life in the dark, freezing water. I love Georgian Bay, lived there as a child. If your thinking of buying an Island in Georgian Bay, know that the mosquito's are brutal in some area's. Once the sun goes down, if your not inside; your going to be covered in bites. Early Spring is the best time of year, if your vacationing there; just before the bugs start coming out. You'll never be more than 20ft from a spider either, they're everywhere. If you do get to spend some time up on Georgian Bay, and you get to sit on a dock; wave your toes around in the water for a few minutes. I'm sure it won't be long before your introduced to the Water Bug, nicknamed the Toe biter; the thing is HUGE!! Google it, I'm sure you'll think twice before putting your toes in the water. LOL!! Enjoy the Bears, the Moose, the Porcupines, the skunks, the foxes and the Bobcats [Mountain lions] .It's not all bad, we have deer and rabbits too. Still, Lions, and foxes and bears oh my. hahaha
