Krish Santhanam Strategic thought in the West: Make India strong and powerful enough to feel arrogant (yes, arrogant because for the last one thousand years India hasn't tasted the real power, and doesn't know how to digest power, and Modi's India is the clear example). With this arrogance fight with China. As a result both get destroyed. West still remains the only supper power.
@anaesthesia1549
@anaesthesia1549 5 жыл бұрын
AARVYY I don't think so. If this was the case China and India would not have been together in the BRICS. I think Chinese see India willing to fulfil the role the West wants them to play against China - the role of an antagonist which they call "balance of power" in the region. I think the US as representative of the West wants to weaken and ultimately break BRICS alliance. They have succeeded in case of Brazil and they are persuading India by enticing it with investment and other incentives.

Just learn lessons from history and be precautious in future. Do not try to retaliate history . We shall earn the looted money, as God gives us more natural resources . Britain must answer for the atrocities they did on Indians , human massacres. , but what to do, those people are no more in this world ( dead). past is past .our determination should be on our ever future . Our Future generations must be aware of it .

Very practical analysis of our vision & relations with the west. India is in the safe hands of well articulated diplomatic community and I have no doubt that Mr. Jaishankar as MEA will lead this diplomatic community & India to a greater level of collaborations & more balanced with our economic & strategic interests. Indian diaspora will act as an asset in stimulating these relationships more proactively in future from a position of strength in technology, human resources, democratic & cultural ethos. World must appreciate that, Our Country is is a harmless soft power trying to better it's economy & that, India never had any territorial ambitions. West must appreciate that terrorism any where is a threat to humanity as we have seen in the past that, the west looks to other way when India suffered from cross border terrorism from a rogue Country in it's neighborhood.The tactical silence & many times support of the mind set of this rogue neighbor from another big neighbor is a cause for concern for our Country. Our biggest neighbor should realize that, it's further economic raise depends on the Peace in the region & it has nothing to gain in needling India through a rogue State. Jai Bharat ! Jai Bharat !
