I loved this! My mother-in-law is an avid kayaker...she does these kinds of camping trips with her friends a few times a year, not only in lakes, but ocean kayaking as well. It looked like so much fun. I'd be talking to myself too. 100% 😊

Note to Eamon: there are certain things you should keep ready to go for such spontaneous trips. I have a small “chuck box” that has dedicated camp kitchen gear, including a can opener, a single burner propane stove and a pocket rocket, as well as cooking/eating utensils, a collapsible wash sink, paper towels, pot holders, etc. I also have a vanity bag that has tooth brush, tooth paste, razor, shampoo, soap, etc. in it. It’s SO much easier to remember 2 things than 20. FYI: I also use a cheap mesh laundry bag to store my kayak paraphernalia in. Again, easier to remember 3 things (boat, paddle, and “boat bag”) than many. Hope you enjoyed your adventure as much as I did! 😄
