Unfortunately the 300-year old bridge couldn't handle the weight of Mr Holmes and buckled under the pressure sending him plummeting into the icy waters 100ft below. Nasty way to go.

That's not the Carrick-a-rede bridge that the girl with the blue backpack is walking over. Nice try. But there are no trees like that on either bank and you have attached totally different footage. I live here
