You'd be surprised. I don't think that huge amount being taken with that vacuum going back and forth would feel anything but confortable. Can't understand why in cases where such huge amount of keratin, wax, etc has to be removed they can't apply a minimun of numb. IT would be a good idea to ask the patient what he felt during the procedure, once he left .
@aubreyackermann84323 жыл бұрын
@@maricle100 where would they apply the numbing agent, there's no exposed skin. Also, they probably want the patient to be able to tell them if they're pulling on something sensitive since it's hard to impossible to see through the buildup.

I’ve had it three times in four weeks at first it felt good but then it was painful the next time. I went deaf after I had a flu reaction from vaccine. I had five trips to the doctor and no antibiotics would help. I eventually went to the emergency as the pain was so excruciating and they sent me to suction. It got bad because the infection was treated incorrectly by GP as it was hard to diagnose the issue. I have bacterial and fungal ear infection with perforated ear drum and have had regular visits for 11 weeks now. It’s still being treated. It offers painful but temporary relief from my ear pressure for around three days between visits.

Mine, is not as wet or as painful, as this looks. However, my eardrum has been replaced, several times, in one ear. Between, the infection that, ate that eardrum (masetoid) and the micro-surgery that took place, in that ear canal, I have a ton of scar tissue there. In the other ear canal, I've had cysts removed, and had so many, replacement, tubes, the skin, does the same thing. They've sewn the tubes in, tried to place a tube, from the back of my ear drum to the back of my nose, for drainage. I am dealing with a lot of sympathy pain, when I watch this video.

I know the patient has to feel such relief. I had a hair poking my ear drum and I wanted to take a crow bar to my ear! That pain and my chronic ear infections, I understand his pain.

It looks wetter than I expected, is something put in the ear to soften the wax a bit before removal?

I wonder if they get to watch it on a screen while it happens like you do at an ultrasound. I’d be so happy haha

Can a general dr see if your ear is this clogged?
@donmelton15126 жыл бұрын
He bursts the pimple by accident. Does anyone else notice that he and all of the other ear drs. avoid pimples like the plague? Seems like opening them and suctioning the pus would help the infection resolve more quickly.

Don Melton it's also creating another open sore and risking different kinds of infection.

I’ve watched a couple of times and I can never see the pimple. It probably needed to have a neon light pointing at for me?
@donmelton15126 жыл бұрын
poketvenus it is going to swell up and rupture at some point anyway. Why not do it in a controlled situation.

Devora H - Is that where he pops it accidentally? Right before that there is what looks like a pimple right at edge of the camera or is it the spot that he tries to get and can’t, it won’t come loose?

At the end of each video, you should show all of the wax that has been removed
