yeah, I can hear skynyrd; GA Satellites; black crows, Steve Marriott, blues infused, on the cuff tunes, but mostly Charlie Starr,😊. and his compadres.. just a top notch band with well thought out songs😊. Had to visit then again. Thanks 😂❤

Luke Barker what's being British got to do with it? hella good bands have came from there m8
@Beaks66127 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but that was in the good ol' days. Over the past 30 years pop culture has run rampant & now our music charts are dominated by gimmicky, manufactured 'artists' that only really care about image & care little about actual real musical content. It's a shame, cos I grew up listening to Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits and Bob Marley & The Wailers etc etc...Nowadays, well, I don't wanna talk about nowadays! lol

Ive been fighting for 20 years. the past 8 have been the most difficult to fight.... Every month, every week, every day.... Seems to be another battle to test my resolve..... Growing in difficulty each moment.... Today was the day i finally looked at myself and realized theres not much left of me.... And this song came on while I was doin yard work to occupy my mind. Music like this makes the battles a little easier because I know I'm not alone on this road.... No one may be by my side walking but.... Theres somebody on the same road as me somewhere going thru or already gone thru it. I feel grounded, understood, and connected to no one but everyone at the same time.... Motivating me to keep my head up, strap my boots up, tape my hands back up, and fight harder and harder for those who feel the same way

I lost everything. The people who i thought were my closest friends. The one special person I've been in love with my whole life but in the end never really got together with. All those sweet memories we shared just forgotten and abandoned. The only thing I'm good at and that's left is music.. The only thing that keeps me alive in hope things will get better.. somewhere, somehow, sometime.. Thanks Blackberry Smoke for a song that will stay with me, even through times like these, where it seems the mountain has no end to it. Sometimes songs directly hit your soul and for me this is one of them.

LYRICS Well my fall from grace was a sight to see Good turned to bad and bad turned to misery I found out what it is and what it's not And all I asked for sure ain't what I got Well I been rained on, rode hard and put up wet Danced with the devil till I'm in debt Took all I got and there ain't much left of me I been knocked down, drug out and left for dead Barely held together by a few old threads Hey I'm still here, there ain't much left to see, no Well I'm still holding on and there ain't much left of me I thought that I'd hit bottom but I ain't there yet 'Cause you'd be surprised at how low a man can get I watched all them dreams slip through my hands But now I'm getting outta here while I still can Well I been rained on, rode hard and put up wet Danced with the devil till I'm in debt Took all I got and there ain't much left of me I been knocked down, drug out and left for dead Barely held together by a few old threads Hey I'm still here, there ain't much left to see, no Well I'm still holding on and there ain't much left of me That's right Well my fall from grace was a sight to see Nobody even cared what became of me Do I have to get down on my knees? And ask the Lord above, have mercy, please Well I been rained on, rode hard and put up wet Danced with the devil till I'm in debt Took all I got and there ain't much left of me I been knocked down, drug out and left for dead Barely held together by a few old threads Hey I'm still here, there ain't much left to see, no Well I'm still holding on and there ain't much left of me There ain't much left of me I said there ain't much left of me, no Yeah well there ain't much left of me
