I think one of my favorite things about having watched Mythical for so long is that it feels like you’re genuinely growing up with them. Like the content has gotten more adult, the jokes are more risky. It really flows nicely as they age and as we mythical beast change.
@emiliaholmberg3320 Жыл бұрын
I totally agree and I like that. Even if the main channel is still mostly family friendly, they have loosened up over time and isn't as strict with sensorship anymore. I was 13 when I first discovered their content and I am 23 today, which means I've been watching them for a whole decade now.

Rhett, just to clear things up - being "sheathed" doesn't make you last longer, because that extra layer of skin also has a ton of nerve endings which increase the sensation. It is generally agreed that it feels better (although the only people who can give an accurate comparison are those who were circumcised as adults, and some disagree). Anyway, people, please stop cutting parts off your babies unless there is legitimate medical reason to do so. It's not cleaner, you just need to learn how to wash properly. "It looks better" is not a legitimate reason to impose an unnecessary medical procedure on a newborn.
@justinsmith2541 Жыл бұрын
I completely disagree. As husband with no kids & who has also gotten a vasectomy. (So grateful it's just me & my amazing wife) Had I had a kid, I would absolutely circumcise them. Because that is OUR choice as their parents. & it is not you nor my position to be telling other people what to do with THIER son. Respectfully.
@stevenwilson2830 Жыл бұрын
@@justinsmith2541Just because he is your son doesnt give you the right to mutiliate him for life while he is still a baby and unable to say no. Babies are still people and they have the right to not have their body permanently and unnecessarily altered just because it's YOUR child
@richardyork2626 Жыл бұрын
@@justinsmith2541 Yeah, on most matters I would agree to disagree, but I strongly believe your kids are not your property and it should *not* be your choice over whether to mutilate them or not. I'm not saying it's my position to tell you what to do either. I'm saying nobody should have that choice, aside from the child themselves, when they are old enough to make that decision. This isn't a lifestyle choice that can be changed later. This is a choice that you are permanently denying the child by altering their body at a young age. Apologies if this comes across as rude, I mean no disrespect to you. But the only reason people think it's acceptable to cut parts off their babies is because it's considered normal, and I strongly believe we need to change that. This is not normal.

18:21 per my understanding, kink-shaming is not just finding another person’s kink weird or gross, but rather involves judging the character of people who enjoy a certain kink as inherently creepy, problematic, immoral, untrustworthy, etc. it’s not just “ew, why would someone enjoy that?” but like, “if you do enjoy that, you’re a bad person and you should stop doing it.” and of course, different people disagree on what is or isn’t kink-shaming, & whether it’s acceptable to shame certain kinks

I find it fascinating the fact that being circumcised in the US is pretty much the norm, when here in Brazil less than 5% of men are circumcised. Americans take it as an universal rule lol
@TwentySevenist Жыл бұрын
It might have to do with WW2 (if I remember correctly). Anyone in the military needed to be circumsized because the thinking was that if they were in a low water situation it wouldn't need cleaning. My maternal grandpa made sure all my uncles were circumsized in case they got enlisted so they wouldn't need to get the procedure as an adult. That might just be a small piece of the picture though. That's how it was explained to me. Me and my husband got a bit of a shock when we circumsized my oldest (because that's what we both know how to take care of) and found out his family is very anti-circumcision... And that the only reason he got one was because he was born overseas in Jerusalem.
