THIS. so many grown ass adults are unable to say 'i'm sorry. i was wrong' or 'i'm sorry i was behaving badly' and it is likely because they were raised by parents that never admitted when they were wrong.

They seem like good dads. My dad has always been my favorite person, and a lot of his best qualities I see in these two. Especially the taking time to individually share their kids' interests with them and spend quality time together, and being the type of parent who apologizes when they do something wrong. It teaches kids that people mess up and it's okay to genuinely say you're sorry and change your behavior instead of the old Matilda dad "I'm right, you're wrong, and there's nothing you can do about it". Yay for good dads.

His hair requires so much hair gel that I bet it’s not even much a chance for that and therefore it got put to the side. I’m willing to bet Link actually wouldn’t like this as they both seem like semi control freaks with small things hahah

Rhett, man. Its not easy being a man with head of hair more beautiul than most. People dont understand the work and effort we have to put into it. Sometimes giving up and cutting it feels like a good option but man, you have worked so hard and look how far you have come in just 12 months. If you cut those curls, I know you will regret it. Keep at it stallion, you can do it.

Considering links hair goes up he obviously uses some kind of product so touching his hair is probably a no zone unless he is relaxing at home, saying that i cant recall a time recently when link has his hair down even on social media posts at home. So i dont think its unusual for link to not have his hair played with by his wife.

I know it's likely y'all will probably not see this, but I wanted to thank you anyway. My wife is currently going through some health issues, and so I stole Link's move and have been playing "we'll make it through" for her daily. I wasn't even aware the song existed before listening to this episode. So, once again, thank you.

I feel kinda bad for Link because touching each other’s hair/head is sweet and comforting. There are very few things as comforting as being with your partner and cuddling and playing softly with each other’s head. Is just relaxing and nice. And let’s be honest, sometimes when things are hot some hair touching/pulling is sexy for some.

I stroke my husbands hair/head every day, usually when we are getting sleepy. It’s a sign of affection, feels nice for him and also me to be fair. He loves it. He doesn’t really stroke my hair ever but he never really thinks of showing affection that way, which is kinda sad lol. Link is missing out.

You should tell them to stroke your hair and that you would really appreciate it they did. Communication is key and some people need it spelled out for them to know what would make their partner feel good. You gotta get affectionate touch too! There’s tons of research on how crucial it is for humans to have physical touch. Maybe look into if you’re interested and possibly could use it to convince your significant other to rub your head! ❤️

@@ml2047 Thanks for the counselling session, but we’re good. 👍 have asked in the past and he has done, but thing is, it’s not as easy when someone has long hair compared to short. So even if he did it’s not as enjoyable as my hair ends up in a tangled mess.

Hooooooly shit, im with Link on the direction thing. I'm keeping my eyes on the road just tell me left or right. You saying "over there" doesn't help me at all. Also, while I'm at it...if she sees something on her phone or whatever that makes her gasp loudly. I'm like...WHAT?? WHAT IS IT?? thinking that I'm about to hit something.

43:32 got me, omg. A few years ago my brother found a diary of my mom's from when she and my dad were away from each other for a summer after getting engaged, and she wrote to him in it every day. Talking about their wedding, sewing her bridesmaid dresses, how excited she was to spend her life with him. They were only 22 at that point and it just gets me every time I think about it! Can't wait until I feel that way about someone.

On the topic of being stupid with pets: I like to talk to my pets like they're lazy roommates. The biggest topic of argument is cleaning. I kept telling my leopard geckos and now my parrots and chickens that they were supposed to vacuum while I was away. But they're not doing it even a little bit. So damn lazy. The geckos moved out and moved in with a friend of mine because they didn't have to follow any rules in her home.

Rhett.. don’t feel bad. I have eaten food quickly my whole life and have dealt with the comments and stares from others. I’ve gotten used to always being the first one finished and having to answer the “why do you eat so fast” question from everyone. I really don’t know the answer either, I just tell people that I grew up in a big family and if I wanted seconds, I had to eat fast.
