They seem like good dads. My dad has always been my favorite person, and a lot of his best qualities I see in these two. Especially the taking time to individually share their kids' interests with them and spend quality time together, and being the type of parent who apologizes when they do something wrong. It teaches kids that people mess up and it's okay to genuinely say you're sorry and change your behavior instead of the old Matilda dad "I'm right, you're wrong, and there's nothing you can do about it". 43:32 got me, omg. A few years ago my brother found a diary of my mom's from when she and my dad were away from each other for a summer after getting engaged, and she wrote to him in it every day. Talking about their wedding, sewing her bridesmaid dresses, how excited she was to spend her life with him. They were only 22 at that point and it just gets me every time I think about it! Can't wait until I feel that way about someone.

That’s very sweet! I hope you’ll have someone that make you feel that way.

On the topic of being stupid with pets: I like to talk to my pets like they're lazy roommates. The biggest topic of argument is cleaning. I kept telling my leopard geckos and now my parrots and chickens that they were supposed to vacuum while I was away. But they're not doing it even a little bit. So damn lazy. The geckos moved out and moved in with a friend of mine because they didn't have to follow any rules in her home.

Rhett.. don’t feel bad. I have eaten food quickly my whole life and have dealt with the comments and stares from others. I’ve gotten used to always being the first one finished and having to answer the “why do you eat so fast” question from everyone. I really don’t know the answer either, I just tell people that I grew up in a big family and if I wanted seconds, I had to eat fast.
