as a victorian we pretty much never watched the NRL footy show growing up (victoria is an AFL state), but just by chance i caught this performance when it aired the first time and its stuck in my head for years and years afterwards. basicly long story short thanks for capturing and uploading this video, i love this song so much.

I saw Earl live last week in a church with about twenty other people. He’s still hilarious, and an excellent musician. A bit less overtly sexual now too, but the man is seventy seven. Anyway, he drove five hours in the rain in a 30’s Rover to play that gig, which says a lot about the man. If you’re ever in a town when he’s playing make sure you go along and show him he’s appreciated!
