Notice that while the recording is of Bill Monroe and the Bluegrass Boys from 1947, the initial photo is of a different band: the Foggy Mountain Boys, sometime after 1955.

the above photo is of flatt and scruggs and the foggy mountain boys @ 1948 - 50. . l - r howard watts, mac wiseman ; jim shumate ; unknown announcer ; lester flatt ; and earl scruggs . all, except the announcer were, or will be, Bluegrass boys .
