A paintbrush works very well for cleaning the hard to wipe areas.

I retired my TLR typhon after my big light show on the 4th of July. Was pushing so much power and torque it ripped most of the screws out of any plastics. I basically drove it like a stunt truck so finally got the 4S outcast instead of buying a new typhon or a ton of parts.

That bad boy is back to being awesome… I always watch intently when you work on an RC that I have😳… that’s how I learn…from watching you wrench

Im definitely slacking when it comes to cleaning. I just blast them off with compressed air. Gotta step up my cleaning game but i need to clean off 5 rc's at a time. would be nice if the family all cleaned their own rc's but for now im just glad their getting into it.

I came across a gentleman with a bunch of rare RC's & also alot of Traxxas RC's like wide Maxx super cool dude & very fair. I traded 2 Crawlers for a Monster Energy Edition Slash & a Snap On Edition Slash both brand new never used in the box with everything incomes with.11

Wow man do u take care of ur real car like this. U got the whole detail shop. Should make a side gig detail and clean rc😂 in socal

How about you actually open that thing up and maintain it properly haha. Too much work for it to be worth it on an rtr anyways I’m guessing
@earlmoorhead5555Ай бұрын
Not an rtr rc is one thing you got wrong the other is it was just service three weeks ago ? All on Camara. As you felt the new rtr is what this is when this clearly was the release of the roller from years back 😮😜😜
@Mrsonicslash5Ай бұрын
@@earlmoorhead5555 I suppose it isn’t technically an rtr, more of a artr. It’s still basically a typhoon or whatever. What is the point in a “track buggy” that is already assembled out of the box haha. Just my thoughts on the whole track inspired rtr’s

@Mrsonicslash5 TLR has all the adjustments needed to set up for grip and shock adjustment needed to compete for the starter hobbies wanting to learn , but regardless the rc needed to be torn down to set it up as I showed 2 years ago the only difference in a kit is your not spending hours building shocks from a plastic sheet of parts rather setting up the rc from first purchase 🏆

@@earlmoorhead5555 what kit are you comparing it to? Arma doesn’t have a kit LOL... Hope I haven’t stirred the pot here, think it’s obvious you can’t compare a rtr to a kit from losi or Ae but here we are. I have been in this hobby for a while, don’t be fooled by horizons marketing team, they can be quite clever. Even while watching this video I see you have bent the front hinge pins, I’ve never bent any hinge pin on my tekno kit and I have tumbled that thing 100 times over

I’m not comparing it to a kit I’m answering your question in the first comment you left (as it’s to much work for a rtr) it’s more work for a Kit ? Less work would be a roller but with all the adjustment you can do to a TLR version and not to the arrma version it makes sense to buy a TLR version all that you get with it !
