Footage starts 4 minutes after the second alarm transmission
On the bitter cold morning of January 15th 2022, the Boston Fire Alarm Office received a call for smoke coming from the windows of a house on Wellsmere Rd in the Roslindale neighborhood of the city. Many division 2 companies had just cleared a gas main break on Brookline ave and diverted to the fire. Car 10 arrived with heavy smoke showing from the eves of the house, and a second alarm was ordered. The fire was located in the walls of the 2.5 story house on the 2nd floor and in the attic. Despite freezing weather and strong wind conditions, Boston firefighters were able to make a strong knock, and keep the damage minimal.
