Decades ago, a co-worker was in divorce court. The judge had had enough of what this guy had to say and told him as much. The guy proceeded to inform the judge that this was "the people's court" and he was going to have his say. He spent the next 2-3 days in jail on contempt charges. In a DIVORCE hearing.
