At 2:10 makes me think... What is the cancer rate for firefighters in the NYFD? I often see them more than a lot of other professional departments in highly smoky conditions and enter smoky rooms without any breathing masks...

I totally get it trying to push your time as much as possible on your bottle because I am very guilty of it, but I think FDNY at times pushes the envelop on pushing the envelope of working in IDLH conditions without being on air. I am not throwing stones but it does send mixed message especially to younger (newer) firefighters that are constantly being pounded about being masked up and on air during heavy smoke (IDLH) environments.
