I learn a hell of a lot just watching you work out what the different harmonization options might be given different musical situations. The videos are a great resource for development. Thanks Tony

It's very helpful and validating to see a person with your level of practical experience working through a tune to find, by ear, what works and what doesn't for *your* ear, what fits under the hands and what doesn't for *your* hands, rather than just presenting a finished arrangement that leaves us aspiring but untrusting of our own process. Thank you.

Hi good day, Yes just noticing I can smell that autumn. Still been kind of hot at night and just knocked off firing up the AC over here in Seattle Wa... Thanks for all your shares! I dont even have to play any good at all yet but its fun to just improve a little and learn some stuff. I have never tried just doing 7th chords diatonically well thats funny cause its only 7 chords but like have the 7ths go to sixths on minors I really havent done too much! Kind of cool sound to have the top 3rd go up a 4th to a sixth chord from the 7th chord never noticed the minor sixths become sometimes a maj 7 or a dominant.. Guitar I do have a cheap keyboard but forget storing it here.... too many guitars 11 already.... A guy on YT had a thing where he changed the voicings with those 7th to sixth where it sounded like a cycle coming down but Im trying to figure it out and then I go WTF the sound had 2nds descending but on the video the keys are clearly going up 4ths Was actually relieved my ear is not that bad!

Sometimes we can get loss when we shift too much in a melodic line. If we have a singing group do the same voicing on a song with these complex chording structure, a good pitch and hearing is a must, I guess. But the twist on things does sound adventurous excitement in doing it if we don't get loss :}

Hello Tony. Do you have any videos on the open voicing exercise you do around 40 seconds into the video?
