Its interesting how differently Can and Emre deal with their childhood trauma. Emre deals with it by colluding with Aylin to destroy Can due to his envy of Cans relationship with Aziz. Can deals with it by shutting his mom off and removing from his life anyone who tries to connect him with his mother. His Achilles is Emre though. If only he could remove Emre from his life. But Emre is the only brother he has, and so he deals with it by moving away from home, travelling all over the world in the name of photography, so he can avoid his family's drama, pain and loneliness.

She is there because she’s just got divorced and needs money to carry on the lifestyle she’s become accustomed to after marrying Aziz! She was a gold digger and marries men with money, when Aziz left her she marry another rich man, then another! When Ceyda said her mother died Huma says Great! She’s always looking for the next rich man! She has brought Emre up to be a proper mummy’s boy and hamper to her every will and that’s how Aylin could manipulate him so easily! Huma doesn’t like being questioned or called out!

True. What really bugs me is that both Can and Sanem, until the very end, had no idea of the extent of damage she has contributed, no, let me correct myself, not contributed. Huma was the instigator of all the evil plans. She fueled the jealousy and desires of Ceyda, Polen and Yighit and came up with ideas to separate the two. Being played by a scumbag is not punishment enough for everything that she has done.

The lengths she went to - Huma had NO right to call herself Cans Mother in any shape or form! Mevkibe and. Ihat also fell for the ruse and sided with Huma and Yigit and blamed Can when Mevkibe had been the only mother Can had had for years and he loved her so dearly and she treated him like crap whilst letting the creep Yigit be around her daughter so unfair! I’m Glad that Merhiban was there for Can when he came back and she played a motherly role right until the end of the show and she was more of a mother in a few years than Huma had ever been!

Guliz is a gossiping sunshine. Deren is hardworking, loyal, fierce and so freaking funny to me cuz of her outbursts. JJ is over the top but also caring and sweet. Sanem is incredibly funny cuz of her crazy shenanigans. I love how she inherited her mother’s personality completely. She wants all the smoke with whoever crosses her path. Can is dreamy. Can Yaman plays the romantic hero top notch. The way his gentle attention is completely on Sanem. How could we not swoon? I can’t talk about Emre without getting worked up. Dude never heard of the word “loyalty”. Osman is a sweetheart, he deserves so much more than being Leyla’s rebound. The mother is cruealla’s long lost sister.

Talking with Can about his Mother just shows yet again how Naive and unworldly her life has been ! She likes to think that everyone has a mother like hers. She wants to believe everything can be fixed like a child, that’s how her family have kept her, traditional and locked up from the outside world and controlled somewhat. Can appreciates Mevkibe because she is like the mother he wishes he had whereas Huma is not maternal at all. Her children are her link to money, and status because of Aziz! She wasn’t rich when she married him! She also mentioned to Emre that Aziz had many affairs with girls like Sanem when later on she plays on the fact that she’d kept the secret that Aziz had had an affsand that’s why she left Can! Lies lies lies!! Huma makes Aylin look like and amateur!!

Yes, it's annoying that the writers made Sanem too naive to the point of being dumb. She asked Can to forgive Emre, but he still continued to connive with Aylin. Now she's bugging Can to do the same with his mother. Huma is the devil incarnate, the master manipulator. She fueled the evil desires of Ceyda, Polen and Yighit and nobody even found out about her role in all this. If forgiveness is the message here, it wasn't conveyed well. Or was the message the opposite?😅

Yes this was a major disappointment in the series! Huma and Emre needed to get their karma I feel and they never did! I’m it saying they couldn’t heal by the end but for all Emres evil deeds he NEVER got any come back at all , especially when you think of the damage that he caused , and I withs he’d figured out his mother and put her in her place too because she really needed to lose big time ! I don’t think I’ve EVER seen a character that is half as horrendously evil to her own son knowing she was Costing him his happiness! A woman like Huma has NO right to be a mother as she destroys her own kids though spite and jealousy!

Can won’t even have a conversation with her but she’s already written Sanem off because of where she lives which also went along with Alylins input of Samem and so Huma is already after meeting another tacky rich person in Ceyda - shes planning on breaking up Sanem and Can and then getting him with Ceyda.!! Not a thought for how her son feels but a mother that hasn’t seen her son since he was a child and knows nothing about him is deciding she knows who he should be with! Evil incarnate! Horrible woman!
