So is the magnaflow the quietest? Which one would I choose if I wanted my 74 bronco to run quieter at all times? At idle, at 20mph and at 70mph? Just all around quieter. Right now it is incredibly loud. I know some people prefer that, but I do not. It wakes the neighbors in my apartment building when I start it and it sets off car alarms when I just drive by in parking garages. Thank you!

I have the magnaflow that's two into one, 2 1/2 inch in and one 3inch out and dumped in front of the rear axle on my 74 , stainless shorty headers great idle sound and yes it does drone at higher rpms.

I have TBP Long Tube stainless headers and dual 2 1/2" Magnaflows. Quietly Aggressive at idle, and wakes up the neighborhood when you get into the secondaries. I dont notice any drone at highway speed. i have dynamatted every square millimeter of my cabin though.

I went magnaflow and man does it have a bark to it when you get on it. Love the sound. Duffs long tubes to custom full stainless 2.5" to single 3"

I like the magnflow muffler it's super quiet I love it all I'm driving is a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire

Flowmaster 40s are my favorite. Ran duals on the bronco I had that's on my channel. They are indeed drone free but can get pretty loud after a while. If I had to switch, which I probably wouldn't I'd have gone with the Magnaflows 2nd and cherry bombs third.

Ordered the dual exhaust and flow masters from you with the ceramic long tubes. Can’t wait to install. It will be a big change to give up the 25 year old K-Bar-S dual glass packs .

I have a 351W with long tube ceramic coated headers with a H pipe to two separate mufflers(cheaper), my question is what muffler would you recommend if you want a quieter exhaust? I drive my truck a lot and the noise at highway speed or even just cruising is fatiguing. I also thought about swapping my long tube headers for shorties if that would help. Do the 2 into 1 exhausts cut down on the noise but at the cost of horsepower vs duals?

Great questions! Keep in mind the more muffled the exhaust typically means the more restriction to exhaust. Cherry Bomb Turbo is the most quiet. If I were you I would start with the turbos on your dual exhaust setup. I dont think a 2-1 will reduce on road noise as effectively as the correct muffler(s).
