I passed on this the other day, think I'll go back and pick it up. I snagged Before and After and Chrome Dreams instead.

Yeah, I gotta say I definitely disagree with you about the playability of this. I’ve listened to it a ton of times and still will. I also love to hear more of Danny’s backing vocals on “cinnamon girl”. In his autobiography Neil said that he replaced most of Danny’s backing vocals on that song with more of himself which he always regretted years later. I also think the production and overall flow of the songs on this album is fantastic. Even if other versions might be better the band sounds GREAT! I love this early Crazy Horse album. Danny Whitten is featured a lot on vocals as lead and backup. I couldn't disagree more with this lackluster review. If you are a Crazy Horse fan, you'll love it.
