Incase you havent checked yet , pressing alt on skill gems show what quality gives , in this instance , it gives 1 proj per 5% quality , max 20%quality ia giving 4 extra projectiles

Yah I tried a Zappy sorc build and was having fun until I switched to Arc and lost all the boss damage; I think going Spark the whole time is the way to go.

does it work after the patch is released? is the legendary ring or amulet mandatory for the build?

go get your passives in campain. there are a "+" markers on the bosses. you have 18 weapon swap points at the time of recording and you can get 24 total. great video overall, keep ongoing.

Something that is disappointing is seeing the same thing over and over again. Every Storm Weaver is using Spark to drop comets, with spark flying through firewall on the side. Every Infernalist is using SRS with firewall, having grenadiers throw through the firewall. Usable build diversity isn't there, for sure. At the moment, due to the games difficulty and over-all imbalanced skills, you are a bit shoe horned into the OP builds to move forward.

I think it is more so the fact that the game just released and everyone is experimenting with builds but not enough is known atm for the build diversity to be there.

I’m playing a pure cold Sorc with Frost Wall, Frost Bomb, Frostbolt and Comet. It’s a blast. If all 12 classes have at least 1 build that’s this fun on launch it’ll be amazing. Expecting all 36 ascendencies to be balanced is to set yourself up for disappointment.

I have found like 6 Exalted Orbs in 56 Levels. How are people trading that ring for 28 Exalt ?!?! Am I missing something ? Is there a way to get them or farm for them ?

the trick is to drop/ vendor buy decent gear (that can be finished with crafting), put some quality and sockets/runes on it, then sell it to someone who already has the cash until you are someone who also has the cash. this works by exploiting some bottom feeders that farm hard to DROP the exalted, give them a minute of thankful silence once you are rich. or you abuse a broken build before its nerved and just steamroll maps with ALL the modifiers you can throw at it, for better loot. rarity gear helps.

there are a shitton of chaos abilities in the game right now that are hard to dodge, chaos inocculation also makes you immune to some ground effects and poison, resistances are hard enough to fix as is and chaos res happens to be a suffix which mana regen is as well and mana regen is king IMO with all the damage taken from mana before life and such. CI just makes it so much easier to gear and is kinda fun in many situations, e.g. chaos trial (for ascendancy) where you sometimes get the choice of"enemies gain 20% pf damage as extra chaos damage" etc.)

Takes double and you generate about 1/15 the amount of energy. It’s legit unplayable. As are most caster builds whose “cast on” triggers are deadass worthless. You fight for 5min+ with no comet or flame wall

if you do the math, it comes out to 17 freezes for 1 comet, instead of 1 freeze per 1 comet. very harsh, one of the most severe nerfs I've ever seen in the history of ARPGs
