If I were to teleport in time back to London in the earliest decades of the 17th Century; how would my share of the stock in any joint-stock company I pay into share the records of my investment, so as to pay the percentage of the profits and/or risks to me in the process; and was this done as an early stock market?

It was inhabited by natives , originally they showed the white trappers where the best place to set traps for pelts were.. They had towns within a fort and they were connected to the others a short distance away , Trapping, pelts thats what they were after. Not gold. Everyone wants gold but the white trappers didn't go looking or expecting to find gold.. furs money was in pelts
