- As others have mentioned, equipping Mage Archetype on MC and beating lower level enemies in the overworld regenerates MP for your whole party. It is slow, but this can be used to restore MP and clear every dungeon in 1 day. If you're cleared all lower level enemies, you can visit the Akademia and come back, this will cause all of them to respawn. - Another great Synthesis skill is Peerless Stonecleaver (requires 3 Warrior). This move does a ton of damage and makes running triple Warrior very worth it early on. - We now know what Gold Beetles are used for. I'll leave a list here, tldr the items are okay but not must haves. So it's mainly only an achievement thing. - 1 Gold Beetle, Arcane Dragonblood (consumable), Restores all MP for all allies. - 12 Gold Beetles, Venomward Charm (accessory), All stats +3. Effect: Prevents physical status ailments. - 25 Gold Beetles, Claw Breakers (Brawler weapon), Strength +6. Effect: Resists Slash damage. - 38 Gold Beetles, Flameseal Corselet (armor), DEF 350 EVA 04. Effect: Nullifies Fire. - 46 Gold Beetles, Dragon’s Fall (Seeker weapon), Strength +5. Effect: Increases damage against dragon-type monsters.

One thing I noticed, that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere is the no item infinite MP "trick". If you set Mage on your Hero and attack enemies on the field, you will regenerate the MP of the entire party. This is useful since it means you can infinitely farm/grind in a dungeon without using items.

Yeah I probably should have added this lol. MP gain per enemy beaten is pretty low, but ya it definitely works

I thought you needed it on all your party, but then the MP Recovery passive is only on your hero. But are you saying if you kill them on the field, everyone gets it? What happens if you end up starting a battle? Because I can't seem to kill them on the field if I can jump them

@@NoorKhanNY It works whether you kill them or just stun them. The passive is equip-able ONLY by the mc being a mage but everyone in the party gets given the mp if you stun or defeat an enemy in the overworld. If you start a battle you..just start a battle lol

another really helpful tip for when you're in the dungeon is to abuse the infinitely spawning enemies from the crystals. Idk if it works on Hard, but you can kill them with one hit without entering battle, and each kill restores the parties SP a little bit (if you have the mage equipped). Every time you find a crystal, it's basically a free full SP restore.

A massive tip that's helped me get through the Brigitte optional dungeon in 1 sitting is that the MC's Mage passive actually restores the MP of the whole party so you basically can have permanent MP regen once you can Overworld Kill at least 1 enemy

So basically the exact same job system as Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth. You can have your job of your choice and you can also inherit skills from other jobs.

On stats my personal take at the moment is that yes it's good to increase your main attack stats but the dmg increase is minimal from the attack stats, I believe +30 points in a dmg stat is like +10% dmg. Though I haven't tested if the better weapon gives a better return for attack stats. Endurance also seems to be fairly bad since the dmg reduction is minimal as well I think +30 END gave about 5-10% less dmg taken. Luck + Agi are probably going to be the better stats to have universally though again I think the boosts are minimal for them as well but I don't have the data however, Agi increases evade which let's you completely evade the dmg but also makes the enemy loose two turns, it also increases your hit chance lowering the same happening to you. Luck increasing crit only really helps physical dmg dealers but as mentioned physical dmg is for the most part the way to go unless the enemy is resistant/immune to it since the physical attacks deal the most dmg and have a chance to crit, luck also increase the chance both to inflict and resist status ailments and status ailments are among some of the nastiest kind in any of these games from what I've seen so far. So it's important both to resist them but making them hit can be a game changer as well. So I would seriously recommend having the support/healer go all in on luck if possible since healing doesn't seem affected by the mag stat. Of course since you can get stat boosting items it doesn't really matter that much how you go since eventually you can max all stats but personally I think for pretty much all builds agi + luck are the best stats, especially for physical dmg dealers since from my understanding spells up side is that they can never miss and every enemy is weak to almost always 1 element while physical dmg has the higher dmg but a fair amount of enemies are resistant to it, few are weak to it and there is always a chance to miss with it. So for physical dmg having higher crit + hit chance is very important.

for stats, i would suggest: strength build: 1 str 1 agi 1 luck in rotation. reason for this is strength has a decent amount of multi hit moves, so that agility keeping hits consistent is imperitive. and luck allow crits that strength builds can make use of. bit more of a slow burn to get to really strong hits but with this set up, maybe this is just my personal luck, but warriors 4 hit attack critted rather often for me. which is huge. magic build: 2 mag 1 agi. as they cant crit getting high magic is more of a priority and agi is essential for landing hits too. plus if you have all elements on your mage then them going first will typically lead to you hitting weaknesses A LOT allowing more turns over all than if they went second or third. ie with 3 man party and .5 showing press turns: .5-1-2-2.5-3. this not including crits or other characters also hitting weakness. if they went second it would be: 1-1.5-2-3. one less turn. which can be fcking VITAL in this game as it seems to have SMT difficulty in it as well. tank builds: pure agility. why not endurance? it takes like 30 end to reduce damage by like 10% worthless, until like 90 which would be 30% which is strong, but by then you would be end game anyway at which point either you nuke the enemy or they nuke you. no in between. might as well go pure agility to get more dodges in to completely negate damage and ruin the enemy turns. it would change if endurance also increased health (like 1% per level) but it doesnt seem to so.... fck it. plus your tank going first also means you can set up defences easily incase of team fck ups like a miss or something, atleast your safety net is already established. luck build: 2 luck, 1 str. with the assumption you will have a mage in the party for solid press turns, you are probs gonna be crit fishing with multi hit physical moves. so... good luck with that. strength so those crits do more than just give press turns. these assumptions come from many years with SMT games which the combat seems more intuned with than persona. plus archtypes giving solid boosts to their major stats, like tank with end, will make up for any lagging stats as well. these are mainly to get you to hit harder and faster by a bit and arent essential. hell, i am sure some lunatics will not allocate extra stats till end game when they learn exactly what end game looks like so they can dump all their stats where appropriate. EDIT OF ADDITIONAL INFO OF LATE GAME: the unique ultimate archetype the MC obtains is physical based. it has one magical AoE skill, but it's unique ability is a physical almighty attack. so.... might wanna make him either balanced or physical build if you want the absolute most out of the MC. WHICH SUCKS considering there is no respec in this game. fck.

i usually like doing 2 main stat, then 2 sub stats so 2 str, 1 agi 1 luck

@@Necr0e1 can certainly go that way. my builds were generalised for use for whatever people wanted to do. BUT, ADDENDUM I SHALL EDIT INTO MY INITIAL COMMENT: there is a archtype the MC only has access to, is his ultimate archetype..... and is physical based. it does have a aoe light element but it's attacks are mostly physical in nature..... so.... fck magic builds i guess *shrugs*

Early game it's a tad expensive, I think 49k? It lets one teammate go twice in a row, but it's not an extra turn, you still have the same amount of press turns to use overall. I think midgame onwards it can be worth it, but not as much right away. Also, only buy it on discount days

What do you think about puting stats in End/Agi for those who still dont wanna commit to phys or magic in the early game. Being tankier doesnt hurt🤷.

From what I saw from another video it actually takes a lot of Endurance (20-30 points) to actually reduce damage in any meaningful amount. I personally think it would be better to get the defense stat from gear (unless you're specifically going for a tank build). Agility probably be the better stat to dump into since it effects both turn order and dodging. That said I'd personally ether pick ether magic or strength and go all into that (I picked magic myself since Strohl goes towards strength and Hulkenberg goes towards Tank). Or just go all rounder and alternate Strength and Magic. Or you could go for a more silly build and go all in on Luck. In theory it would give you a lot of Loot and Crits.

Things like buffs, debuffs, having the right affinities, guarding, will be much more impactful in making you tanky compared to a few points in Endurance. And points in agility rarely do anything outside of turn order
