To be honest tho the dialogue and themes aren’t any more mature than persona. Like, persona 3/5 are pretty dark in some arcs and persona 5 royal has an especially thought provoking final palace. I haven’t related to a single metaphor character, who are much much less grounded in reality

The game play and story are fantastic even if you can't relate to being a noble or whatever. It's not persona 6 lmao stop expecting Atlus to just pump out persona clones 😂

And btw I bought metaphor deluxe edition and really enjoying it, it’s not about wanting persona 6 I’m only talking about relatability. Which btw you said metaphor is much less relatable due its to setting so gg :)

Just played a couple hours as soon as it launched. Having such a blast! Feels a lot easier to manage social activities when compared to the person series, which is a huge plus in my opinion

Bond dialogue options don't matter for rank ups which makes that easier, but dialogue options for things that rank up your Royal Virtues do as you get more points towards a virtue for selecting the right answer.

@HappyNBoy let me share some good tips as well: money is actually tight for buying the best equipment, you can lose hero leaves if you stack over 99.

@@mmpsp693 see, but actually money is super easy to get... If you simply run around with the MC as a merchant in a low level dungeon you can rack up 10-20,000 per circuit... And toss the other party members on archetypes they don't usually use but you want a few levels in. In 30 minutes of grinding you can get 10 archetype levels, and 200,000 in cash. I run around the dungeon 3-4 times after completing a quest, and I'm currently sitting between a million and a half million, and just get anything I need from the shops.

There’s something that I don’t really know has much benefit, but I found it kinda cool. So any Archetype on the MC has an overworld passive skill that’ll activate on kill/stun. What I didn’t know, is you can repeatedly stun the same enemy, getting the benefit each time, and eventually killing the enemy even if it’s yellow/red. I’m not too far in, but I can only see this being beneficial for Thief/Merchant, but I thought it was pretty cool!

You can but it wouldn’t be worth pretty sure the merchant overworld skill is bugged since it says “a chance to gain money” but it’s been 100% for me but that would take way too long with no spoiling you’d be better to just go back to a dungeon or go to the desert of grand trad and just farm the groups of low level enemies and repeat! Spent 30 minutes and had about 400,000$

@@MintTastic My exact thoughts as well tbh! I also wasn’t sure if it was bugged cause yeah, “A chance to” makes it seem like it shouldn’t happen every time. Hope you’re enjoying the game though! Basically a 10/10 for me so far!

@@lordbingus2085 oh yeah I love it I didn’t play the demo but from Friday at 5pm to last night at 9pm I got 25 hours of in game play time I love it I’m on hard and not going to lie until you get your 4th party member at least for me it was really hard but I’ve just been maxing out my mc’s archetypes since I learned that if you max one out it gives either a permanent +2 stat boost(of archetypes main stat) or 20 health/mp for the brawler and mage archetypes I’m level 34 at the moment and have just been doing all the side stuff!

I’ve been trying my best to not over-grind too much, but damn it’s so tempting just cause of how easy it is to do in this game. I just finished up all the stuff in second city!

@@lordbingus2085 we both are gaming I plan to do regicide whatever it is and no matter her aids it is to deal with lol also what team are you mainly rocking so far im sticking to my mc being basically a glass cannon magic dealer. Then I have strohl be my dedicated melee damage user,with Hulkenberg as my tank her with knight and general’s back row skill goes so crazy(I believe it’s general whichever one gives you +2 defense as a skill in combat) and last party member is the opposite with the attack up +2 in battle with aoe healing basically really only have 2 big damage dealers with the other two keeping me and strohl alive! Lemme know how the area goes that requires you to do certain things to get certain rewards(trying to keep it as spoiler free as possible lol)

Although tedious give every character the mage class and upgrade it later they get a passive skill if they get any sorta damage or defense buff they gain 10mp on their turn it carries late game

Those passives only work for the MC, and the MP heal from the MC restores everyone's MP so you don't need to make everyone a mage. I do cover this in my second tips video :)

Heres a tip i learned the hard way. Dont keep switching out characters classes to try something new. I kept switching out Stohl trying to figure out which class best suit him and learned i was severely under leveled for the minotaur fight in the Beldor Corridor thing.

You can pretty easily swap character's archetypes around; in fact, you're incentivized to do so in order to match what is most effective against the area you are in. The fight against the guptauros for example is all about not bringing staff or mace users and exploiting it's weakness to ice and pierce; so long as you do those it's an easy encounter.

I've been wondering... have anyone figured where to farm/hunt stat boost incense yet? I finished the game and restarted on regicide however the time needed to reach the bath option is quite long considering how it goes and also, enemies on SMT and even Persona had a drop chance to get those from time to time. I'd expect their drop be very rare or even requiring the merchant 2nd tier to bring both item drop passives while hunting. I can confirm one possible drop though at early game... we can farm Mag boost incence from the gargoyles at the capital(there are many on it but drop is kinda very low, i wish we had acess to all our arch and 4 skill slots from start... would run the 2 item drop boost alongside Ninja class from the start while beating everything trying to find/meet what drops what e.e.

Hey Rozalin! Thanks for videos! Im curiois about strategy to finish dungeons. Especially the main story one. Should i finish it fairly early or should i tackle it at last possibile moment using spare time to increse my king stats? Are the next events in the game progressing on fixed day or is it day you finished dungeon + for example x amouny of days? Please help!

Until I go back through and really optimize the schedule I can't say for certain, but it felt like it will be a case-by-case basis similar to the Persona series as to when you want to tackle the dungeons. One thing though that is the same is you want to aim to finish them in one day just like with the Persona series to maximize your time.

In your first impressions video, you mentioned that the game had a lack of difficulty, even though you were in the beggining, which is usually the harder chunk of an Atlus RPG. Is this better in the final version ? Did the game get more challenging (in general, not just the beggining) ?

My impressions was based on a build from August which also gave access to Regicide from the very beginning. The full release appears to be more challenging with Hard being equivalent to Regicide from August, and also the superboss can't be attempted on Storyteller. So overall it is more challenging than it was during the August build.

Pretty busted if you know what a boss’s weakness is for example 3 warriors there synthesis attack is a heavy/or severe physical damage move(not at home so I can’t check but I know for a fact it’s one of them) which is pretty absurd for the very start of the game same goes with 3 mages unsure about the rest of the classes what they get when there’s 3/4 party members using the same thing

don't take my work as being perfect but someone on reddit got an early copy and he said physical attacks are a little better like most smt/persona games. but it's nothing major so you can just do the build you like the most in between strength or magic (if you do strength then luck is gonna be more important than if you choose magic since it affects crit rate)

So long as you don't fight it with someone as a Seeker, it's not bad; just make sure you use items to heal anyone who falls to ~100 HP and you'll be fine.

Not that bad honestly. Maybe different for different people but I have found that ik my experience on hard mode level 7, 8ish Grius can withstand 2 maybe 3 rounds of combat without healing even as a Mage. Whereas Strohl and Protag can take only 1 round of attacks before the next turn they die without healing. But this is also under the assumption that number 1) Dragon is not targeting weaknesses. i.e you don't use Seeker and 2) you aren't in the front row.

Both can work honestly. The MC's best Archetype has both magic and physical attacks; it's strongest attack is physical, but you can also get a magic attack of equal strength from the Seeker-line of Archetypes and pass that down.

You can retry fights with 0 consequences in order to learn enemy moves and weaknesses, MP isn’t that precious because a Mage can restore it upon hitting an enemy. I burn up all my MP grinding, switch to Mage and get my MP back. With enough grinding you’ll be fine

The mines were really dumb, you can't make the enemies respawn so I was too underleveled for the first boss on hard.

You can. Farm dogs and slimes by move to 1 and 2 areas, and just simple go back. Only high lvl creeps wont respawn.

i cleared the mines on hard (including the dragon) and it was fine, just had to learn the ins and outs of every enemy. i didn't grind the low level mobs either

Darn I guess I just didn't realize the big mobs don't spawn again :( so now my only complaint is that when you get new weapons the party doesn't go," oh that's better than mine, could I take it?" and it just automatically equips small gripes 9/10

@@holyheretic3185 that probably doesn't happen because weapons aren't exclusive to characters since any party member can have any archetype, but it would be cool if it opened the equip menu where you see all party members so you could equip it right away if you wanted

I've played the demo, listen to the soundtrack on repeat and the story is really interesting... but 70$ and knowing atlus they'll release an enhanced version 1year later. That's why I didn't buy P3R. I hope they release a complete edition with ep aegis included.
