Wow carnation/pinks are looking great Woody. Yes grass grows better when moist all the time. Yep more power 💪💪. But you’ll need holes in the bottom too as those barrels need lots of air flow I think it keep burning (picket line fires back in the day 😂). Some lovely harvest there Woody, as always a pleasure walking round with you, have a fab week, Ali 👍🇨🇦

Hi Ali I removed a huge amount of pinks, but they were past their best ( I've taken cuttings so may replace some ). Thanks, I thought it was a power issue as regards the stepped drill bit, ( see if I can borrow my mates drill 😂😂😂) picket lines, 💪💪💪💪 we need to see more of that over here I think 😉. Always a pleasure to have your comments Ali my friend. Have a great week ahead too ❤️

Interesting to see your blueberries seem to be low in number this year as well, but a tremendous crop of figs you have there! I’m just waiting on my apricots ripening properly but pleased with them so far.

Yes not a massive amount of blueberries this year so I'm assuming it's the same with yours 🤔 Figs are abundant as you observed 😉 I'd love to have an apricot tree!! Is yours under glass? Have a great rest of the week ❤️

It’s all looking nice Woody, how are you liking having a kitchen garden? Do you have any grandkids running wild trying to forage everything? : all the best - Steve

Hi Steve Thanks mate, it was the best decision I made to give up the allotment and grow at home. No we don't have any grandkids at the moment, time will tell . ATB 👍👍 👍

The Gardening Channel chap sprays his trees with kaolin and it works pretty well (if you can stand to watch his prancing about). I'd love to try cob nuts, but I guess I never will now, I only have a year or 2 left gardening and buying them online is crazy prices. Watch out for leaf miners in your chard, two years ago they wiped out all the leaves of mine, I'm trying again this year with environmesh, I just put some in, fingers crossed.

Hi Kath Kaolin 🤔 will look into that. If you want to try growing some cobnuts from seed let me know and I'll send you some. Yes, I have the leaf miner in our beetroot but not really bothered our chard so far ( the sparrows are worse😂) the enviromesh should work for you. Take care my friend ❤️

Hi woody you not going to doing your pinks anymore Didn't you supply someone with them We know what you mean about the weather we get light breeze and its blowing us along or 100% going to rain and don't see a drop Think my dad's way was best stick your hand outside if it gets wet it's raining 😂😂😂

Hi guys I'll just be doing fewer pinks and if I do decide to plant more I will plant them through membrane! Yeh weather forecast is completely unreliable, not supposed to rain here today and it's been pi**ing down 🌧️🌧️ ATB 👍👍👍
