Dope history lesson. The OG 2's are my favorite silhouette. I am from Louisville KY and I was the first one in my neighborhood with them back in 1986. I trekked through the snow to get those bad boys. I was a senior in high school. These are a must cop. A double up for sure.

Well purportedly he didn’t dislike the jordan 2 he just wasn’t a fan of Nike and was looking to go elsewhere then tinker came up with the jordan 3 and boom the love began

I'm a og at 52 and I was fortunate enough to have every original pair of Jordan's from the 1's to the 14's except for the Jordan 2's so looking forward to getting these to add to my collection and rotation. Awesome video and review!😁👍

I think a lot of ppl didn't appreciate the 2s, but now that the "chunky" look is popular, these fit the bill. I've always likes this colorway along with the bred 2s but that's where it stopped for me.

Kari you always do a lot of history research. Makes OG’s like me appreciate ya. You missed that the AJ2 is the only J with the size molded into the sole, a 70-80’s thing for some shoes. Glad you brought up the price scale but the price wasn’t the turnoff that much either. Along with MJ breaking his foot and Moore/Kilgore getting started on the 2 so late, Nike flooded the market with so many AJ1 c/w’s including the original 13 plus there were a lot of different shoes like the forces. Like you said MJ wore so many different shoes including the alpha force low until the AJ3(his favorite). Sole Savy had on his podcast some well known name on 2’s from instagram who mentioned connections with the brand that had so many things about the 2’s wrong.🤦🏽 BTW you receiving kicks like this early is what I was referring to when you RT it stating you don’t receive any special treatment from others receiving coveted kicks. 😜

Great review as always, never disappoints, I do think Nike dropping these at a terrible time. 5 days after Christmas on the verge of a recession, it kinda makes me on the fence about copping these. Nike trying to make this my mist expensive holiday season to date. Keep the great content coming!
