I was one of the many who saw this shoe launch with 0 chance of getting it for retail. Seeing it resell for thousands and then being mass produced to crash the price is crazy. Definitely glad I was able to get myself a pair.

Well said !!! It’s wild how these aren’t going to almost the limited pair considering it is literally a 1 to 1 to the 2016 pair. Of course very small differences but overall the same. It blows my mind how the market operates and these so called sneakerheads. I’m still trying to wrap my head around how are these so low in resell when they are identical to 2016? I’m not saying I’m about resell because I am not. I was able to get a W from SNKRS on these and SUPER happy because my favorite all time 1’s are the bred colorway so to have the 2016 leather pair, the patent leather and now satin, I think it’s pretty dope how this shoe has evolved over time. I think the only real difference was some eyelets were chrome and these were painted I think. Other than that it's identical.

These are fine but regardless of price or availability I think everyone can agree leather looks better than patent or satin or suede .

In my eyes, the numbers pairs still hold weight over the recent release but if it's just for the sake of style, then they're equal.

To be honest, I do not like satin sneakers. I am not even sure how much I like the patent breds, and I still haven’t worn them. While I could see myself wearing a suede pair of Breds should the reimagined line come to it, I definitely would not have worn these and that is what made these an easy pass.

The reason why they made it a women's is because they wanted it to still have some exclusivity but also wanted it to make it attainable. The resellers are killing the actual culture and this is an answer to the too much/too few pairs debate.

nike and jordan brand arent being fair. they are exclusively making a shoe that is for women and they know men will want it. they do this on purpose, they arent dumb. give extended sizes so people who want them can fit in them, lucky for me im a 9.5 so i dont have to worry about that now.

Hey if you like them get yourself 3 pairs. I think most people dont want these cause they are just 1s basically dunks which are getting played out right now, that wasnt the case in 2016. Also too many red releases cement red4s , playoff 8s and the red and white 12s dropping next week make these bricks in this current market. Also the fact that they went with anything but leather on these make them corny in my opinion.

The problems is the price point and the quality. Too many releases, Xmas soon, people ain’t rich.. and these won’t age good, apart from the women’s sizing aspect
