I hope that everyone had a lovely holiday break. Mine was so relaxing and I enjoyed every minute of it, but I really missed you all. Filming and editing videos and interacting with this community are some of the greatest highlights of my life-- it's extremely refreshing to step away from the hustle and bustle and realize how very much this channel and you all mean to me.

When we were children my siblings and I read 'choose your own adventure' books, they're books in which you choose your character's actions and that determines your path in the story, they were a very fun mix of reading and RPGs :)

Becoming is a great memoir and right now I’m listening to an amazing audiobook called “the strange and beautiful sorrows of Ava lavender”. It’s so whimsical and quirky, I absolutely love it. Following that line of whimsical and quirky I listened to the audiobook of “the house on the cerulean sea” last year and also loved it. There are magical children!!!!

Congratulations on working for yourself! I'm glad you're going to be able to do what you truly love. The fact that Roo lets you dry him off!😲 I have never had a pet that would let me dry them off, they always prefer to run around shaking themselves dry. To be fair, I tend to read around 3-6 books at a time, I'm a mood reader and get tired of being in a single book, but I can say once you get used to it, it's not that hard. Love this! I did the same this past year transitioning away from client work and focusing more on my creative endeavors! I’m also an adjunct professor and that’s the final piece this year that I am hoping to do - transition away from the university I teach a class or two at each term and instead continuing to grow my body of work with the classes I launch over on skillshare, keep growing my Shop and hopefully monetize my KZbin channel! This is what I am telling myself every day when I feel the pressure from others to make goals, productive list etc RIGHT NOW because we are already in 2021... Hi Morgan, Landon and Roo! First of all: Happy New Year :) Glad you took a break. I did the same and it was so good for my own creativity. Finished book 5 this week after 4 months work, and started drawing again, because i'm into a writing-break, before final work on book 2. BUT i do actually love my new "Weekend-Selfcare". It works with my ADD. That means, i have 3 full days to focus on other things i like (too). (Reading is one of the things i should do more often lol) I'd like to read this year 10 books! More are not matching my creative-life, to be honest. But you inspired me, to do a small read a thon. And that idea to use used books as decoration like that is genius. Have a nice day/night.

Happy New Year! One of my resolutions was to practice Spanish more too. I recently started doing something that I've really enjoyed. I have a copy of Divergent in Spanish and one in English so I keep both open to the same page. Then I read a paragraph or two in Spanish and then read the same paragraph in English to make sure I understood it. And any words I didn't know, I google and write the English word over them in the book with pen. Any words I learn during that session that I want to remember, I write down in a notebook. Also, congratulations on your decision with the channel! So happy for you!!
