I was in the Navy and was always fascinated by the bridge design of the tugs that would come out to meet us. American tugs all had this same superstructure with the windows makings a muffin top shape. I always hypothesized it was a visibility thing, but it's really neat to see it how it looks first hand. It's a self evident thing/layout when you see it from this perspective. Thanks for the video! 👍😜

So I work with some bad ass tugs at a naval shipyard while we do carrier dockings. When I saw the thumbnail, i thought for sure this was a tug sim setup just like a lot of folks here. I was so stoked!! I love watching vids of badass trucking, and flight sim rigs. So this caught my eye! Was bummed at first, but this was still a cool vid. I sure hope someone creates a cool tug sim game and setup one day!!

Head over to the Australian Maritime College. They have the worlds most advanced tug and ship simulator. They actually have at least 3 separate simulators that all run in the same ‘world’, two tugs and one ship. Great fun to play with. Worth a few million dollars though so no surprise that there’s no private ones.

Never seen the inside of a tugboat. Genuinely thought this was an over the top mech warrior setup. Def gonna try and replicate this to do exactly that. However was nice to watch this
