Thanks for the video Hyro and Marleen! You have a very polite way of ranting so it was fine 😆. I think road construction is a headache no matter where you live. In Canada we say there are 2 seasons, winter and construction. It's always a real headache to get around by car in the warmer months with road and lane closures.

Thank you too☺️I think with the winter it must be next to impossible to do much road construction. Was hoping that being the Palm Beach road they would put some more men power and rush it but it's been Caribbean Speed as usual😝

We were there July 25th 2024 for a week. We rented a car and saw the donkey farm, light house, baby beach, natural bridge and butterfly reserve. The dirt road to the natural bridge reminded me of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. Don’t forget the Alo Factory! Prices were kind of high so if you are planning to go, bring a lot of 20s, 10s, 5s and lots of 1’s for tipping at the eateries. We stayed at the Eagle beach resort which was great for a 3 star resort. It can pass for a 4 star resort easily. We were looking for Hyro but no Hyro around.

Hope the road will be done by beginning of November. Will be staying at Catalina beach from Nov 4 until Nov 18 at Airbnb. But we also booked 3nights at RIU Nov 11-Nov 14, then back to Airbnb. We're coming with another couple that have never been to Aruba. So, we want them to try an Airbnb as well as few nights at all inclusive. They are also looking forward to meeting you and Marleen. Will see you guys soon.

Hyro , have you ever done a walk inside of oceania resort in eagle beach? We will be coming there in january 2025. We would like to know if there are a lot of restaurants around there because we will probably not be renting a car, just walking.Thank you. We have been watching all your videos before we come to Aruba.

Wife and I have been to the Oceania Resort a few times. We Oceania is great especially a more relaxing resort compared to the Palm beach resorts. The beach itself is especially wonderful always seem to be rated one of the top beaches in the world. White sandy beach and not congested at all. There is a local Food truck kind of place which has local food made right there and you can take it to your beach chairs and enjoy the food. When leaving the Oceania, walk out the beach side through one of two secured gates, find your beach spot. When ready walk north on the beach walkway about 5 minutes and you will find the place I am referring to plus a cinderblock structure that serves American of American food. If you have any questions about Oceania please let me know.
