Funny thing about Akuma, in a game where characters look more realisticly fit and proportioned than ever (Zangief having a layer of body fat over his muscles for example), Akuma being so ridiculously shredded really stands out. He looks like his skin can barely contain his muscles and makes him look genuinely unnatural, like his devotion to becoming stronger has made him less human than the other characters. Really sells what a literal and figurative martial arts monster he's becoming. You can hear shades of it in his theme too. They really knocked his design and evolution out of the park for SF6!

Maybe the gi along with the hair is just a bad combination. In SF5 he has the gi but he doesnt have a gi in 6 so maybe thays why ut doesnt look as bad.

Hey Max, just a heads up that hits does not matter to scaling in SF6, its about Inputs. If a move is 2 hit, but done with a single input like Ryu's forward HP or Akuma's st HK then the scaling works as normal. If a move is like a target combo, such as Akuma's MP MP target combo, Jamie's rekkas, Marisa's uppercut into slam, or Luke's forward HP HP target combo then it counts as an extra hit of scaling. The only moves that seems to break this are Luke's perfect knuckles.

One small correction about damage scaling in SF6: Heavy Kick will only count as one hit in terms of scaling while the target combo will count as two. The game essentially counts the number of inputs needed when determining hits for scaling. So Akuma's fire punch and followup will only count as 2 scaling hits for all versions because it's two inputs (the initial motion and the followup input)

4 input demon, are we pressing two buttons or have we assigned two inputs to one button? Like when I’m usually playing mostly as Ken, I assign medium and light kick to r2 and medium and light punch to l2 for Ken’s dash and the ex moves so I have to press hp and hl (l1 and r1) together for D.I. and likewise with the mp and mk for parry

Maybe the light version that you can combo into it, while the heavy version that you can't combo into it will do more damage.

Most Lvl 3’s do 4000 DMG, and a CA just adds 500 more damage. Lily and Zangief have higher damage Lvl 3’s with 4500 DMG and 4800 DMG respectively, giving them a CA of 5000 DMG and 5300 DMG respectively. Akuma’s demon is locked to CA so yeah I guess it just does 4700, more than most CAs.
