I have seen the movie, and its bloody good. Its not perfect, it does sometimes feel like it cant do the things people want mainly because of the age rating. Some may find moments where it may go a little slower, but its not irrelevant. The cinematography is on point, and the details and easter eggs are incredible, its one of these films where it feels it will benefit from sequels which will add more to these films. It is definitely for the fans, and you will enjoy it, but if you go in with expectations of major gore like other horror films or every major plot point from the games, you will likely be dissappointed. Like the games, the horror comes from the tensions and the thought of what happens. 8/10 from me

My god, stop talking about critics as if they were this kind of evil cult dedicated to boycott fanbases 😭 They didn't like it, that's fine, go see it, form your own opinion and if you like it that's great! Doesn't mean they're a cult trying to sabotage the film with their wrong opinions because they hate fun! An opinion cannot possibly be wrong and seems no one here knows what that means so I'm just gonna use one of the examples I saw in one of the comments below: "I like this movie, it's great", and they're talking about a bad film. "I like this movie" -> Personal opinion from that individual's perspective, which cannot be considered as either right or wrong, because the truth is, he likes it and no one will make him believe otherwise. "it's great!" -> A statement implying that a bad movie is great, now that can be wrong, because putting their personal opinions aside, the film is bad from a filmmaking perspective. So in the end, the statement is wrong. You see the difference here? An opinion is personal, no one has a "wrong" opinion, until you get to the facts or criticism, that's where it stops being an opinion and it can be wrong. Other examples: "I don't like Across the Spider-Verse, it's a bad movie because it's woke garbage!" "I don't like Across the Spider-Verse" -> Their personal opinion, it's not wrong and I can't do anything about it. "it's a bad movie because it's woke garbage!" -> This is not an opinion and therefore it can be wrong, and everyone knows that's insanely wrong.

While it's quite sad to hear the early reactions, I think a lot of people will still very much enjoy it. I'm not expecting the movie to be perfect. Just give a good story I can fall into, tension, and characters I can feel for. That would be enough for me tbh. Thanks for keeping up to date about the reviews though 3C! No matter who's giving these reviews, it still is worth knowing what people think about it early on.

I think if they made it rated r and put murders in it with jump scares more people would have liked it. That's the problem with a few movies. Venom, venom 2 and morbuis. Those being in the pg13 restrictions kept them from being better than they should have.

some negative reviews from fans may come from expecting the movie to have lots of blood and gore despite the franchise itself being aimed at teens and not explicitly showing that much so all I'll say is we should have expected a pg13 rating

I’m in UK and just saw it. I hate to say it but I agree with the reviews. It lacks a lot of action and feels almost cringy comical at points. The cameras kept cutting away when the animatronics “attacked” which was really annoying. The most exciting bits they cut to the next scene 😢

personally, i've just seen the fnaf movie (since i live in britain) and i really liked it! I'm a big fnaf fan though and the movie was made for fnaf fans so that checks out. Hello, UK here, my opinion on the film is it is 90% amazing, has great horror elements with some creative creative deaths, exceptional Easter eggs (really), cameos incredible, but one scene is a bit of a mess fans may not like as well as small small details later. The last half of the film is an insane ride, and the story is quite cool!!
@dmitrimarintchenko2146 Жыл бұрын
Even as a major fan of the entire franchise and series the movie was a complete flop and disappointment they changed up way too much of the key characters and lore which made the games so enjoyable and don't even get me started with how terrible the middle of the movie was it didn't feel even slightly "scary" or like a horror movie and turned into a "friendship beats all" type movie. Utterly disappointing especially with how well the animatronics looked and how well they casted the characters and made the set truly a disappointment.

Just went to see it. I really enjoyed it, personally. Lots of references to the lore and I loved to see popular fnaf youtubers take part. The story obviously had to be adapted to fit a movie structure, but I loved the plot twists and I liked how it wasn't based soley on the lore. There were times where the horror element was lost ***SLIGHT SPOILER*** The animatronics became friends with Vanessa, Mike and Abby and built a fort together ***SLIGHT SPOILER OVER*** But I found that there was a good amount of horror included, which I liked.

I don't care about what others think of the movie but I am worried that bad reviews could lead into a box office flop which then leads to an cancelled sequel. This would be unfortunate because I feel like an sequel would actually complement the original as it could further and elaborate on the details that were plainfully ignored in the first movie.
