Jim Henson's creature shop is no joke. They have made some of the best practical effects in movies! I love the design of Freddy, but I'm also excited to see what Bonnie, Chica, or Foxy is going to look like. I haven't been a big fan of Five Nights at Freddy's for a long time, but I'm so happy this movie is finally being made. Matthew Lillard I think is going to do a great job as William Afton. So Blum House, please don't ruin this film!

They can’t change Charlie’s story, she is basically the reason the kids spirts live in the suits, she does it as a way to protect them, and the puppet is very important to the lore, and Cassidy he one spirt that will be menacing he has a better grudge against Wiliam

Now my knowledge of FNAF lore isn’t as good as it used to be, but I think the kid who was killed by Afton you mention shares control of Fredbear with William’s kid who was chomped by Fredbear in the bite of 83 which kinda pushed William into killing Charlie. I think a much better change is having the bite victim be the sole inhabitant of Fredbear and save Charlie/The Puppet for the inevitable sequel

Here to clear some things up about Freddy's color. This is most likely just normal freddy with overblown lighting since Fredbear is usually portrayed with purple accessories, and golden freddy in every incarnation is just an empty possessed suit with no endoskeleton inside to make it stand

7:16 They could also pull something from the later games. The idea of Charlie being in a Freddy variant is actually in the game. In the 6th game the Marionette is lured and trapped inside the animatronic LEFTE. Maybe they could alter things and mix it with Golden Freddy. Have it be that Fazbear entertainment, in an attempt to neutralize the Marionette, had her sealed within Fredbear in an attempt to contain her. But this didn't work as she simply controlled Fredbear now

Theory: In Markiplier's newest video, he went over and said that he'd be not as active on KZbin, since he got big projects ahead of him. I'm willing to bet we'll get flashbacks from Michael about the Bite of 87, and this will be one of them. Honestly, if they can pull off the emotional core of this movie using Michael's experience from back them, it could make for a rather sad horror movie. I'm just hoping they don't go overboard with making William a sympathetic killer. Sure, what happened in 87 and with Emily wasn't entirely his fault (maybe a bit more with Emily since that animatronic was meant to kill kids), but he's not a good person inside. I’m a hardcore FNAF fan, but one thing I’m so happy about is how general audiences will be exposed to this franchise for the first time, so I honestly want these guys to make changes. If they try to stay 100% accurate to the games, it literally won’t make any sense to most people and it will drive them away.
