He had some good guests. On one show he had 3 year old Tiger Woods, Jimmy Stewart and Bob Hope on the same show. Also John Lennon and Yoko appeared on the show.

One of the most diverse variety shows ever. Diverse in every way - not just the obvious. The daily guest roster ran the gamut. You had to be a student to even be aware of a variety show that comes on weekday afternoons with guests that ran the gamut, as did Mike Douglas. Syndicated local daily strip from Philly. And Mike was a cool host who was comfortable with everyone.

I was so lucky to see him at Caesars Palace in the mid 90's. His show had hundreds or rapid fire one liners. A true legend. I regret that I didn't buy an autographed tie for $75.

I was just missing him Robin Williams and George carlin. We don’t have anything like that anymore. Just saying. Just glad I got to watch them over the years. I still get to watch Craig Ferguson .sometimes..he’s still around. Great comedian also. Wish he was still on late night. Maybe take Jimmy Fallon’s place or something.
